Camp Rivercrest offers many opportunities for people to get away to the peaceful surroundings of God's wonderful creation. Camp Rivercrest is a ministry that seeks to glorify God through camping. The camp has plenty of adrenaline-pumping activities, including paintball, a gut-retching 40-foot swing, a death defying 380-foot “Superman” zip line, a 3-story rock climbing wall, the giant 300-foot long “Black Banana” water slide, an archery range, and a high ropes course. An observation tower attached to the climbing wall overlooks a breathtaking view at 100 feet above the Platte River. Not enough? You can also enjoy softball fields, biking trails, a challenge course, airboat rides, the snack shack, the NBA-sized basketball court, or the swimming pool complete with a diving board and kid’s area. In the winter months, Camp Rivercrest offers an inner tubing hill for adventurers, with speed and tumultuous turns on the way down the hill into a valley. Impromptu snowball fights are popular as well. In addition, campers can take time to relax, sit by a fire pit, go on a hay rack ride, or perhaps go on a walk through the woods on one of the hiking trails. Camp Rivercrest offers many opportunities to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of God's wonderful creation. Thousands of kids attend the summer camps every year, getting a chance to enjoy God’s creation and hear the gospel presented in a riveting, relevant way.

Then and Now Camp Rivercrest was founded in the 1950’s, when the Christian Missionary Alliance purchased the property. Originally, the sleeping quarters and all the services were held in tents. When the chapel was first built, 95% of the labor was donated! In fact, nearly every building or construction project since then has been the result of God inspiring people to give individual donations. His hand is evident throughout the efforts of every capital campaign. The camp has recently undergone $1.5 million in major improvements, including a newly expanded dining hall. The camp has two fully furnished lodges with bathrooms and showers, each of which accommodates 50 people to sleep, and a meeting space for many more. There are also 14 cabins that hold 10 people each. Both the cabins and lodges are even heated and air-conditioned!
