Elgin Park will come alive on Wednesday night when the township presents their Canada Day celebration. The festivities get underway at 5 p.m. and there are many activities available throughout the night. Admission to the event is payable through donations at the entry gates, and some notable Uxbridge residents will be on hand to greet residents as they make their way into the park. Starting at dusk, what promises to be Uxbridge’s largest ever reworks display will light up the night sky over Uxbridge. There will be lots of fun activites for kids and the entire family.

Car rally entering Uxbridge DARRYL KNIGHT The Standard UXBRIDGE: This weekend, the Uxbridge Historical Centre is taking local history to the streets as it plays host to its second annual Adventure Car Rally. Entrants are encouraged to dress up in the theme of this year’s event - the Fabulous 50s and 60s. The Adventure Car Rally is one of the newest fundraisers for the Historical Centre, and money raised through this family-friendly event will help the Centre continue to offer fun and educational family programming and events for our community! Teams will compete throughout the afternoon on an exciting driving adventure around the Uxbridge town and countryside visiting historic sites, farms, public green-spaces, and hidden treasures to solve clues and riddles for
