Looking to the Future… She is here… Friends and Cattlemen,
On behalf of the Huston family, I would like to welcome you to this year’s event and thank you for taking the time to go though the catalog and preview this years offering. These cattle are cut deep from the “Heart of the Herd”. They are the kind that consistently raises the right kind. The kind that return heavy dividends on your investment!
As we look to the future…
We had some big shoes to fill after last year’s sale with the record-setting sale of half interest in the Panda donor, and several other standout females, but the amazing thing is the quality has continue to rise. As you study this years offering you will note the genetic diversity that this set offers.
With all the uncertainty that surround the industry this year, things honestly, are brighter than ever! Yields were all across the board, but all were higher that anticipated. Commodity prices are at levels that we love and late season rain allowed most parts country to get another cutting or two of hay! The cattle market is high whether we are talking about feeder cattle or production and show cattle sales. The business is thriving and moving forward.
Are you looking for a great female to put you in the mix in the club calf business? ……she is here!
Gather up the family; hook up the trailer, and head to Roseville. Come buy the cattle that are bred to be productive, perform and most importantly be profitable!
Are you looking for that maternal bred female to put to work in your operation as your next donor? ……she is here!
Don’t hesitate to call Mike or Taylor they would love to visit with you about this set, and as always if I can assist you in any way, from cattle selection to sale day bidding to delivery, please feel free to contact me.
There are many females in this offering that will have a long lasting impact on programs across the country.

Very seldom are individuals blessed with the opportunity to be part of a program that can produce an individual such as Lot 1. I thank him everyday that I’m blessed to be the individual that gets to sell this special animal.

As much as a person wants to picture the entire offering, you have to be a realist at some point. With that being said, the following 28 bred heifers at least deserve the chance to be evaluated before the sale or morning of. All 55 bred heifers were handled in the exact same manner. All were synched with estrumate and bred to either No Remorse or Summit. Once serviced, they ran with No Remorse for approximately 60 days. The heifers have all been poured twice this fall with Ivomec, wormed with Panacure and received a dose of Mineral Max and their first round of scour guard. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Well, I was serious and here is the proof. A 3 year old Smokie that is so right for the times! You guys will absolutely fall in love with this doll. Is there a hotter combo right now??

There ain’t another bull, maybe of any breed, born that long ago that can still sire ‘em like this! Tell me who in their right mind sells a 4 year old Meyer 734 daughter that looks like this and is AI bred? I know it is fun to joke around and write these footnotes, but fellas, seriously study the structure of one like this! A good Meyer is still a great asset to own. Just a 4 year old remember!

It is simple, I got more enjoyment out of making others happy… and if these cows don’t please you, I give up! It is the best I got!

This Flush granddaughter was the mother of my favorite steer in our 2012 pasture bid off! Bred back the same way to top it off! You will love the structure this cow possesses not to mention the hair. She will probably be fairly high in the sale order too.

Her full sister brought $9,000 in our 2009 sale to Postin & Melvin! Thank you boys, you have been great customers. I have 7 Draft Picks coming in December out of 251. This cow has the ability to be a lead donor someday, somewhere. Probably the stoutest made cow I’m selling! Hope you like what she is bred to?

There just simply are not a lot of them in existence. Disagree if you wish, but I’m one to insist that the Flush genetics must be traceable to make elite club calf cows! They simply have what it takes: hair, bone and the choke of the neck!

She has a lot to offer at her new home. Her 2011 steer by Q Dog was my high seller at $9,500 to Mark and Stetson Copus. No offense to the Dog, but what will happen now that she is bred to Monopoly??

I know a lot of people are very skeptical when they see mature cows for sale. I’m sure a lot of places one should be a little leery of why people would sell young productive cows! If there is ONE thing I can drive home to you the customer, it is the fact that THESE cows are proven and are bred back to be extremely profitable investments! You would have to drive hundreds of miles to see this many cattle, of this type of quality, or you can drive to Roseville, November 18.
