SPECIES THAT YOU SHOW? McKenna: Heifers
DO YOU BELONG TO ANY BREED ASSOCIATIONS? McKenna: Hereford & Limousin FAVORITE SHOW & WHY? McKenna: My favorite show would definitely be Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma City. This past year my family and I were able to exhibit our Lim-Flex Heifer “Gabby” there. We were fortunate enough to win the Lim-Flex show and have the opportunity to show in the Supreme Drive at the end of the Congress. The people and the atmosphere that I was surrounded by in Oklahoma City truly made it a show that will forever be a special memory to me. FAVORITE SHOW MEMORY? McKenna: My favorite show memory would be winning Supreme Champion Female this past January at the Cowgirls in Cowtown Show in Fort Worth. My Lim-Flex heifer Gabby had an incredible run this past year with her championships at Junior Nationals, Kansas State Fair, North American International Livestock Exposition, Cattlemen’s Congress, and Cowgirls in Cowtown. The

show in Fort Worth was the last time I would get to show Gabby before her show career came to an end, and being slapped champion at that show was the best way for her to retire from the show ring. I can never find the right words to express the emotions I felt during her last time in the ring. The feeling of having chills knowing your hard work paid off as you win a show is something that I will always be thankful I got to experience.
