The City of Bishop is working on development of more recreational features, and adding to the park's character. The city is looking to utilize funds (from the passage of Proposition 68 in 2018) for some of the projects, and city planners and officials are looking for public input on what could be next for the park. The Life You Are Raymond Charles Barker said, “We are life and we have no adversary. There is no power in the world to prevent our demonstration.” You are not just living a life, you are life. All the power there is, all the energy there is, all the good there is is available to you; the only thinking, feeling and conscious being in your world. Every man, woman, and child you see and greet are drawn into your awareness by the Law of Attraction. They could be saints or sinners; that depends on how you have used the power and energy available to you. Likewise, with the situations, events and even catastrophes; your prevailing thoughts and beliefs paint the scenario of your experience. This is all God’s plan. Each of us is unique and individual. No two of us is alike. God is not a big man in the sky, or a judge and jury combined. God is Spirit, Birthless, Deathless and Ageless. God is the essence of life within each of us. God in us, as us, is us God is personal to all who feel the indwelling presence. There is only one Mind and that is the Mind of God, and our use of it guides our life and experience in the direction we have sent it. The Love of God allows us to change that direction when find we have gone down the wrong path. Jesus said, “It is done unto you as you believe.” It is important to note he didn’t say, “It is done unto you as others believe,” or how your preacher believes. What you believe is the directional beacon of your life. Belief sets the tone of your experience. Many people do not even think about their beliefs. They tend to think that outside influences are cause of their troubles, but those influences are effects born of a causation formulated from their belief. We live, move, and have our being in a Cause and Effect Universe. For every cause there is an effect, and no effect takes place without an initial cause. Effects can take on many forms; from people to forms of all kinds, all the way to emotional reactions. Beliefs are the key that enhances or detracts from the good in our path. The good can take on a multitude of desirable traits such as love, possessions, prosperity and health. I don’t need to list the opposites. A lot of beliefs have been inherited from parents, teachers or peers, but their influence of your life is not diminished with time. Prejudice and bigotry are born of negative and destructive belief. Love, empathy and compassion are also all born of deep seated beliefs. Many of us were not brought up with the beliefs we needed to achieve the life we have desired. When we recognize a belief that has not brought us what we desire, it is time to change it. To change a belief is not necessarily easy, but it can be done. You must be fully conscious when changing belief. You can’t be asleep at the wheel. When you change a garment, you discard the old, and put on the new. Other than placing the old in the hamper, you think no more of it; the new has replaced it. Paul tells us to put on the new man. Fill your mind with images that are lovely and everything contrary fades into the nothing it belongs to. You will draw love into your life. It already works. I love you! God is Love and Loving You Right Now!
