According to KSL, the recently-signed SB16 bill is controversial amongst many in the state and was contested by two Republican senators — Senator David Hinkins of Ferron and Todd Weiler of Woods Cross — as well as the Democrats in the State. The answer is C, $500 million. According to the Standard Examiner Utah, lawmakers are expected to spend $500 million on water conservation and Great Salt Lake measures this year. Utah House Representatives and Senate members are expected to make an announcement on these spending bills later this week. Senate President J. Stuart Adams told news outlets to stay tuned as to when.
