EVENT PICK: Love wine? The Chehalis Valley Wine Tour is always a blast. Sample some fine wines and some fruity wines and some interesting ones. Grab your favorite friends and enjoy the little boutique wineries from Tenino to Toledo for a fun day!

OUTDOOR PICK: Jared is an avid golfer and I love to sit outside on the deck at Riverside Golf Club & Bistro, especially when it’s nice out. It’s a beautiful landscape to enjoy while sipping a glass of wine or enjoying a bite or playing a round. We also enjoy taking the dog to Borst Park in Centralia. There’s a dog park there but my dog is intrigued with all the squirrels and enjoys just walking the trail around the park.

ATTRACTION PICK: Lewis County Trails! Here a trail, there a trail, everywhere a trail, trail! Hike them, ride them, run them, and walk the dog on them. We have such a beautiful outdoor paradise here no matter what the season.

SHOPPING PICK: Lewis County is full of thrift stores! There’s something interesting about the unique things that find their way into these shops. I’ve found some treasures here and there. I like the Shady Lady in downtown

Centralia, where different vendors come together to sell items both old, new and refurbished. We also frequent our local friendly Ace Hardware in Napavine for our little projects and Home Depot for some of the bigger to do’s. DINING PICK: When we have a “date night” our first choice is always Plaza Jalisco in Napavine. Our go to dish to share are the fish tacos. Absolutely delicious every time. We love their salsa and their service is always excellent.
