BalanceTest
Zinzino’s BalanceTest is a fingerprick blood test that analyses the essential fatty acids that are found within your blood. It measures your overall health based on your diet for the last 120 days, and analyses your balance ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3. Because we now eat a lot more man-made, processed foods that are lower in nutrition and higher in fat and sugar, and we eat less natural, organic foods, it has created an imbalance within our bodies of Omega-6 and Omega-3. Both these nutrients can only be obtained from our diet and the foods we eat now contain large amounts of Omega-6 and very little Omega-3. Science and medicine agree that to be healthy, we should have a ratio of 3 Omega-6 particles to 1 Omega-3 particle (3:1) within our bodies. However, due to modern lifestyles and poorer diets, globally, the average balance is currently about 15:1.
Why is this bad?
An imbalance of Omega-6 to Omega-3 has a detrimental effect on the cellular health of our bodies – meaning that having too much Omega-6 and not enough Omega-3 damages the tiny building blocks that make us up. Omega-6 is inflammatory, and Omega-3 acts as an anti-inflammatory and we need both in good balance for optimal internal health and cell support. An imbalance can cause conditions within our brain, heart, organ function, skin and hair and can increase joint and muscle pain.
Medical evidence has demonstrated that high omega-6 levels and low omega-3 levels can contribute to the development of obesity as it:
• Reduces the response of cells to hormone messages which can raise levels of insulin, leading to diabetes, and reducing levels of our natural hunger reducing hormone, leptin.
• Stimulates certain receptors in the brain that lead to increased hunger and make us eat more.
• Can cause conditions within our brain, heart, organ function, skin and hair and can increase joint and muscle pain.
• Rebalancing the omega-6 and omega-3 ratio can therefore help with reducing health risks of being overweight and help with trying to lose weight.
A quick Science lesson!
Our cells need essential fatty acids (Omega-6 and Omega-3) to function. Being made up of roughly 35 TRILLION cells, we need to make sure those cells are well looked after, or our health is negatively affected. Each cell in our body is surrounded by an outer membrane, or layer, and one of the key jobs of Omegas is to manage the structure of that outer layer. If that outer layer is healthy and functioning correctly, it allows healthy nutrients into the cell and lets out any waste products too, meaning our cells remain healthy and our bodies function correctly. If we have an imbalance of Omega-6 to Omega-3, it means our cells become inflamed, meaning the outer layer becomes so solid, it cannot let nutrients in, or waste products out and we start suffering from ‘cellular inflammation’, which, in turn, begins the downward spiral of our health.

BalanceOil

Why are there two different prices?
There are two different prices for our Zinzino products because we offer a one month and a subscription price.
If you wish to take your product for one month, you will be charged the single purchase cost. However, if you commit to 2 or more months of the product, you will be charged the lower multi-month cost.
In order to get the best health results from using Zinzino, we do recommend that you commit to their products.
How do I add Zinzino products to my weight loss programme?
To add Zinzino products to your weight loss programme, it could not be easier!
Simply ring a member of the team and ask to add your preferred products to your weight loss programme.
The cost of the products will be added to your direct debit.
How are my Zinzino products delivered to me?
Your Zinzino products are delivered to you with your weight loss medication from The Slimming Clinic.
How many months do I need to subscribe for?
There is no minimum or maximum subscription term for the Zinzino products, however at your consultation, the doctor will recommend how long they believe you will need to use the Zinzino products in order to get the best results for your weight loss and health.
What if I want to cancel my subscription?
If you wish to cancel, please contact us at The Slimming Clinic.
We will try and do everything we can to resolve any issues you might be having and escalate to the relevant department.
What if I am not suitable for The Slimming Clinic medication?
You are able to start one of our weight loss programmes where you will have an appointment with a Doctor and can be subscribed to our Zinzino products without weight loss medication.
