Our Showroom Our West London showroom features our full collection curated in roomsets to inspire and delight all who visit. The showroom also houses our fabric library, the most extensive of its kind in the UK, with more than 100 international brands and over 3000 books.

OUR PROCESS
Manufacturing Our carefully refined manufacturing process ensures that every detail of a product can be tailored to your unique requirements. DESIGN
Our designers set to work on your piece, starting with the frame, before moving onto padding and upholstery, as outlined in the brief. Dimensioned drawings are presented to you for approval, prior to the start of production.
WOODWORK & BODYWORK
With the approved template in hand, our skilled team of carpenters hand-carve timber to the desired shape. Foam and sprigs are also added to the frame, depending on specific requirements. An array of different fillings are then applied for maximum comfort.
CUTTING & SEWING
With decades of combined experience, our tailoring team apply the most exquisite details and finishes to each piece. All fabrics are cut and dressed with absolute precision, ensuring that just the right amount is cut for the perfect stretch, the most precise placement or the most intricate piping. 12
UPHOLSTERY
Our master upholsterers cover every piece with 100% wool felt and Dacron to ensure a luxuriously soft feel between body foam and fabric. Once this is in place the final upholstery process begins. Only a true artisan can ensure the precise placement of folds in deep buttoning or ensure consistent repeat patterns across a suite. 13

Craftsmanship Dedicated to fine craftsmanship, our entire luxury furniture collection is handmade using time-honoured manufacturing practices. From our master upholsterers to our apprentices, every person on our team is dedicated to their specific craft. Our expert carpenters create frames guaranteed for 15 years, our bodywork team repeatedly sand, spray and stain until they have achieved the perfect shade and our upholsters and seamstresses will test your fabric to ensure it is cut for the perfect amount of stretch needed. It’s this passion and pursuit of perfection at every stage of the manufacturing process that defines the quality and craftsmanship of our product.

The Sofa & Chair Company’s stylish collection of upholstered furniture ranges from the very contemporary to pieces with a touch of the traditional. Our signature style is sleek and timeless, made up of pieces which make a statement but will never date.
TAILOR-MADE FURNITURE
We manufacture all of our upholstered furniture by hand in our workshop which means that every piece you find in our range can be altered to your exact specifications. For example, should you wish to tailor the measurements of a piece to suit a specific space or style, with a little extra time we can accommodate most requests.
BESPOKE FURNITURE
Our bespoke furniture service that runs from initial concept through to the delivery of your unique piece. Working from your sketches or ideas, our designers can create a piece of furniture that is truly unique and one-of-a-kind.
IN STOCK FURNITURE
We keep a small range of popular styles in our collection ready to deliver in order to cater for rush projects. This includes some ranges of homewares including lighting, artwork, mirrors and rugs. The range available can be seen on our website or speak to a member of our team.
