New floor laying techniques and insights into working with the latest products can be found at the Demo Zone, run by the Flooring Industry Training Association (FITA) and supported by the Contract Flooring Association (CFA) and National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers (NICF).

All demonstrations will be shown at the dedicated demonstration stand in Hall B, with live demonstrations from qualified instructors. FITA will also offer the opportunity for visitors to come and ask the experts anything, as they open the stand up to bespoke demonstrations of anything covered over the course of the show.

SHOW CHECKLIST for visitors to Harrogate

REGISTRATION

Register now at www.theflooring show.com for fast access. Entry is free of charge. The Flooring Show is a trade exhibition for retailers, contractors, fitters, distributors, specifiers, interior designers, property developers and architects, and is not open to the general public.

TRAVEL

TRAIN: The HCC is linked to all major UK cities, including six daily direct LNER services between London Kings Cross and Harrogate Station (2 hours 46 minutes). Harrogate Convention Centre is just a seven minute walk (or short taxi ride) from Harrogate train station. Taxi services are available across the road opposite the main doors of the station. Visitors can get 25% off travel with LNER. Claim your discount using code HIC25.

PLANE: Leeds Bradford International Airport (www.leedsbradfordairport.co.uk) is 20 minutes from Harrogate; Manchester International (www.manchesterairport.co.uk) is 90 minutes from Harrogate, with direct train services to Leeds station. There are now three flights a day on British Airways from Heathrow to Leeds Bradford, at very reasonable prices.

BUS AND RAIL: For local bus and rail information, local planning guides and directions around town visit openharrogate.co.uk.
