LA SCALA Chef David Tamburini introduces his Special Dishes Bringing with him the different components and traditional recipes of southern Italy, David is introducing a unique selection of seven special dishes that include appetizers, pasta, risotto, main dishes and dessert. The new menu has been carefully created and offers a unique selection of "not to be missed” dishes, prepared and cooked with premium grade, optimum quality ingredients. Each dish follows Chef’s secret recipes, exclusively applied with special techniques that ensure enticing presentation and irresistible, delectable taste. LA SCALA David Tamburini - New Italian Chef La Scala restaurant at The Sukhothai Bangkok, a stylish, contemporary haven of classical Italian cuisine, welcome David Tamburini from Tuscany, twice awarded Michelin stars, as their new Italian Chef. Following his recent position as Executive Chef at Giando Italian Restaurant, Hong Kong, David’s passion for food, its preparation and cooking, combined with his continuing strong interest in Asia led him to Thailand. Back in Sicily, David studied the different components and traditional recipes of southern Italy and expressed his desire to give to them a more contemporary flavour, whilst developing a personal cooking style based upon the respective ingredients and techniques. Creative flair, a combination of traditional Italian recipes and his own renowned creations will form the basis of David’s menu at La Scala. “It is indeed a great honour to be part of The Sukhothai family at such an iconic restaurant as La Scala, and I want to satisfy our diners with truly contemporary Italian flavours he says.”


COLONNADE Buffet Lunch with Special Supplemental Dishes Monday – Friday / 12.00 – 14.30 hrs. Buffet lunch at Colonnade will become an even more exciting experience as their new concept offers all buffet dining lovers additional special supplemental dishes, rotating three times weekly, i.e. every Monday/Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday and Friday. They are Fire Coco & Bio-Berry, both being cocktails that feature an interesting blend of ingredients using local Thai fruits mixed with liquor that pleasantly surprise all cocktail lovers, providing excellent new flavours from the very first sip. Fire Coco (THB 350++) An interesting mix of Vodka and Malibu with Pineapple Juice and thick fresh Coconut Milk, shaken well together and poured into a glass with a drop of Kalue and topped with burnt white-egg foam. With Kalue caviar served as a side dish, this innovative cocktail presents the fresh taste of coconut and pineapple with the unique flavour of liquors … a great way to sweeten your evening!
