WEDDINGS PAID
WEDDING NIGHT It was just a month ago when I met a neighbour of mine, he's baruch hashem blessed with a sweet family, has a decent job, life seems to be just great by him. I also know his son got engaged a while ago to be married shortly, so we exchanged a warm hello, and I asked him So how's the preparations to the big Simcha going? All of a sudden his face blushed and his body starts slightly shaking, I wasn't even sure if thats what I really saw but asked him anyhow Is everything all-right with you? He says I mean Baruch Hashem all seems to be all-right, but marrying off a child with all its astronomical expenses is not something I have ever expected or dreamed of, I'm quite lost I'm financially drained momentarily, and I literally have no clue how to move on with it, so every time anyone mentions to me something regarding the 'Simcha' I'll be making, it touches a ensitive spot within me,when I ask myself How can something thats so hard on me truly be called a Simcha? It sounds so paradoxical to me. He could've gone on with sharing his struggles with all its details & I would only be able to tap him on his shoulder & say I feel for you, but since I've recently came to learn on the generous activities of L'reiachu Koimochu I stopped him right there and said Why cry? There's b"h great help for you out there, after saying some basic details of this wonderful Org I was experiencing for the second time in that conversation how his moods changed instantly, I saw him smiling while taking a deep breath which was like saying I guess I don't have to give up. I met him again few days later and that was already after he got in touch with one of the members of L'reiachu Komochu, I asked him So will it be a "Simcha"? With a wide smile on his face he said Oh Yes, big time a "Simcha"!!

Who
I was bed bound at the hospital suffering with an extremely painful disease. All I could have done was to accept my situation, after all it was not something I had chosen for myself, it was given to me by Hashem, but that only worked for myself, the staff at the facility didn't care much if I chose it or not, since my insurance didn't cover that kind of procedures all the doctors expected was just some nice stacks of cash in order to continue with their practices, & my only question was 'from where'?! Thats when L'reiachu Komochu came into the picture, honestly they didn't come into the picture rather they completed the picture, I don't know how they did it, I just know money wasn't an issue anymore, things moved on smoothly, all along with that sympathetic care of those kind volunteers. I came to believe that this sickness came to me straight from Hashem, and through his angels on earth he also provided me with whatever I needed throughout that process. I'm forever greatful to Hashem & this wonderful organization....

KIMCHA D’PISCHA Although Chazal states that there's no two human beings with the same exact mind set, still if we would be asked on what's the most precious thing we posses? Those of us who have the great Zchia to have children on their own they would all most certainly point on their sweet Neshumelach as being the most precious thing they have without any second thoughts on it With all the care we devote to our sweet gems thats not all they get, there's a very obvious partner who adds tremendously to our children's growth which is there Rebbis and teachers. Our own memories of our first recollections to life is still so fresh with us as it was just yesterday, and quite often it hits back to our mind a good Vort or a nice story of a Tzadik that we have heard in those sweet childhood years. But to see the picture on the other side of the coin, if there's ever a time our resources needs funding we get around with techniques to achieve that, whether by finalizing an ongoing deal, brushing up our sales, or by getting on top of our collections, and while we can bs"d make a living out of selling the same items every day over & over again etc, those Rebbies/teachers whatever they sold yesterday is out of the picture, they need to put together every day new lessons & different interactions to keep our children going, while not having any way to raise extra $$ in time of special need (besides of their pay and minimum bonuses they receive on rare occasions). In the weeks before peasach L'reiachu Komochu surprises unexpectedly staff members at Torah Institutions with nice bonuses for Kimcha D'pischa to help them cover the high expenses it takes to bring in the yom tov with joy. And what makes us different from similar Organizations is that we don't raise the money for it around that time, because that time every Yid is more less tight, its throughout the winter while all try to warm themselves from the outside temperatures we warm our hearts to care towards those who will be in need in few months from now....

CLOTHING One cold day, this past winter, I went to shul, where i met R’ Yecheil Perlstein, founder of Lereachu Kumochu. I Approached him after Mincha and showed him a text I’d received from a friend; “It’s cold outside and my kids have no clothes to wear, since I can’t afford it. ” R’ Yechiel’s response left me in awe. He told me to wait a moment, picked up his cellphone, and made a call. Within minutes I was told to send my friend to a local dry good’s store, where a six hundred dollar store credit was awaiting him. I contacted my friend and told him what R’ Yechiel had said. Two hours later my friend called me, literally crying tears of thankfulness, of relief, of joy. He said, “When I hung the phone up with you, I gathered my kids and told them the news, we were going to buy some new clothing. You had to see the smiles on their faces.” He told me how excited they were as they ran to the store. However, he said; “As we neared the store, we saw the owner closing up. My little daughter began to cry, she’d been so excited to finally show off her new clothes. The owner, hearing a child’s cry, turned and asked what the matter was. So I told him. He said to wait while he closes the gate and we will enter through the back door, have the store to ourselves. I cannot begin to describe the joy and thankfulness I felt to HaKadosh Baruch Hu while taking in the scene. Every child was in a different corner of the store, rummaging through racks and filling their arms with various clothes to try. I could not control my tears at seeing my children so excited, at the thought of them finally having something nice and new to wear. We walked out with bags, smiles, and even some credit for the next time. I have no words to thank you for putting the smiles on my children’s faces.” I disconnected the call, put the phone down, and thought, “Wow, R’ Yechiel had made a real difference to, and lightened the heavy burden, of a worried father.”

I NEVER HAD SUCH A SMILE AT MY SONS WEDDING AS THE LAST ONE
GROCERY BILLS Baruch Hashem I was gifted with a nice large family, I take pleasure of every moment being around my family, However when it comes to shopping groceries for my family it leads me to a new phase in life, fulfilling a grocery order got kinda tricky, covering a long list with an almost empty wallet causes me a lot of stress and anxiety, and cannot be done when I'm tired (or hungry!). It actually starts off still at home by making the list, first rule is something that we still have even though we're running short on it,cannot be included on the list, we had put our children on some unofficial sugar diet to avoid buying many sweets, not because they don't deserve it, we obviously treat them in other exciting manners- but rather because we can't afford it. Etc. I generally know which is the cheapest brand on most items, the problems start if they're out of that particular brand or if one brand is on special so I have to verify again what's the cheapest, I don't really mind to buy fruits & vegetables that's outside the store instead of the expensive ones inside because honestly I don't think there's any difference, but others then that the goal is to walk out with the least & cheapest items regardless of the quality ane packaging. Etc. A stop at the grocery was always meant to be a stressful experience & I never thought it can be any better until I was guided to L'reiacha Komochu, as of now grocery shopping has become pleasant and easy, I did not win the lottery but their support is a great help and makes a world of a difference, "I might not have all I want, but I have all I need"....
