What’s Happening CRESSWIND NEIGHBORHOOD THEATER
By: Richard St. George
The Cresswind Neighborhood Theatre is going full blast with their production of The Savannah Sipping Society. In this laugha-minute comedy, four unique Southern women, all needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, are drawn together by fate—and an impromptu happy hour— and decide it is high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they have lost through the years. Over the course of six months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle-aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover lasting friendships and a renewed determination to live in the moment—and, most importantly, realize it is never too late to make new old friends.
Meet the cast:
Randa Covington: Sandy St George
Dot Haigler: Pam Snell
Marlafaye Moseley: Betsy Robertson
Jinx Jenkins: Julie Edmondson
Grandma Covington: Kathy Stoessel
The shows are May 19-21 at 7PM. Tickets go on sale APRIL 18.

This has been a big comeback season for the Cresswind Community Chorus. We had a long Covid break and then . . . We have had three productions in the last ten months with a Summer Music Spectacular last July, then the Holiday Music Celebration in December followed by our most recent Spring Music Spectacular in April.
We will be taking a break now until we begin preparation in September for the 2022 Holiday Music Celebration next December 8-11. If you’ve ever wanted to be in the Cresswind Chorus or want to come back to Chorus, we would love for you to join us in September. No audition required. See you in September!

The Cresswind Performing Arts Club (CPAC) has been busy this year. We had a great time lying for you in the Liar’s Club in February. Then in April we had two musical events starting with the Cresswind Community Chorus performing their Spring Music Spectacular with a rousing finish that will be remembered for quite a while. We also finally brought in Richard Petty’s Southern Journey Big Band to entertain the community...and did they ever entertain!
May brings the Cresswind Neighborhood Theatre’s production of The Savannah Sipping Society (May 19-21). Ticket sales start April 18. Keep an eye out for information in the Daily Update.
Here is the rest of our schedule for the year. This is all about neighbors entertaining neighbors! We hope to see you there! Information can always be found at www.cresswindpa.com JUNE 24: CPAC Presents...OUT PAST NINE
