• The UGA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Gainesville is offering StartSMART, the SBDC’s signature program for entrepreneurs who seek to launch pre-venture business concepts or basic businesses who need to establish foundational processes & operations. • The Georgia Mountains YMCA named Lane Walberg as new president and CEO. Formerly Senior VP of operations for the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid South, Walberg oversee programs for families and children through its after-school program, early learning centers and the J.A. Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia inducted Mimi Collins (left), CEO, Longstreet Clinic, and Frank & Nancy Norton, Partners, The Norton Agency, into the JA Northeast Georgia Business Hall of Fame.
