Want to save some money on watering your grass?

Well there are a couple of options that you may want to consider, depending on where you live in the Chateau Elan neighborhood. First recommendation is to install a second meter that is for your irrigation only, this will allow you to save money on the sewer portion of your water bill by separating the water usage for your irrigation system vs. the outside use that does not go through the sewer system the same way. The other option that is available to about 1/2 of the Chateau Elan neighborhood is called “reclaimed water” which is non-potable water that can be used for irrigation purposes only. The savings are amazing because you are saving on the actual cost of the “reclaimed water” vs. the potable water you have coming into your home and you save on the sewage cost as well.

In both scenarios above you must go through the Public Works Department at the Town of Braselton and pay to have a 2nd meter installed. You can also reach out to the same department to find out if the “reclaimed water” is an option for your home address.
