EMPTY NESTERS TAKE HOME SOME NICE PRIZES AFTER BINGO WINS!
from Reunion May 2023
by The Times
The Empty Nesters turned to some age-old entertainment after having a wonderful, catered dinner by Christy Steele, featuring chicken parmesan, flank steak, cheesy mashed potatoes and roasted veggies with coconut cake and brownies for dessert.
If you haven’t played B-I-N-G-O in a crowd, it becomes a “serious” game—and not for sissies. The Reunion Empty Nesters, usually quite vocal after dinner, sat in anticipated silence as B-I-N-G-O callers Tom McDermott and Glenn Rush announced the numbers. Winners who shouted out “BINGO” were Gary Hodges, Peggy Reiland, Kathy Sposa and Hal Beaver (who beat Dave Altman in Sudden Death overtime!). Delightful gift baskets of wine, snacks & candy were provided to the winners by terrific co-hosts Fran Bridwell and Liz Rush!
Join us for a GREAT time on the third Saturday of the month (excluding June and July)—with the only qualification being that you have no dependent kids at home. Single or married—we have many singles in the group—so think about joining us.
