Thundery shouts broke the calm night as curses exited his mouth. The evil is heading towards my vulnerable heart. Cold feet, trembling knees, and death threats cornered me. Under drug influence, he'd terminate any of my family.

Deja vu! It happened over and over. I did summon help to turn the tables. Texted brother in a heartbeat, desperately! "Should I hire someone to get him finished?"

But before you give me my verdict, listen thoughtfully! I texted it to my brother unintentionally! It was my quick response to try to save my family! For all the reasons, it was not premeditated!

My brother defended me, ran to stop my husband. But the evil dominated him; he's being defeated. The evil hands were heavy, tightly gripping his neck. He struggled, turned pale, couldn't breathe- I had to fight for him.

I ran towards the kitchen and decided in a split second. My brother was dying right before my eyes, so I had to do the unthinkable! Sure! Neighbors saw everything! Outside my home, a stabbed, bloody man was dying.

Self-defense! That was all it! I killed the man I love because I had to. It was a prompt decision, not because I wanted to. I'm a woman who should stand to protect too.

But yes, at the right time, I'd tell my son that I killed his abusive father with my bare hands. One day, I hope he'll understand my justifications. I'm guilty. But before that, I was the victim.
