I never knew that violence could be so alluring,

As I see myself drenched in crimson, In the jagged points of the shattered mirror with edges glistening as the lone light glimmers.

It’s a clear reflection of the person

I reminded myself not to get involved with, But the irony of it all is that, I am the monster I am trying to steer away from. And in my final breath, in a labored manner, I uttered, "Opposites do attract.",

As I gash my flesh with a final cut. This is my battle cry.

The meek symphony of the collision between the alloy and my skin.
