New Tiny Bites at SWEET GRASS!

SGD is always blowing my little taste buds, but this is my favorite treat yet - their deviled eggs. I just thought they were the best eggs I’d ever had… and then I realized they have Sweet Grass Dairy’s frenzyinducing pimento cheese in them.

• One of our successful local restaurants is looking at a second location with a different menu… • Off the menu, but Monday is RIBS day at Rose City Pickup Meals... • Bacchus is offering RAW OYSTERS on the patio after 3 pm on Saturdays!

FLAUNT DRESSES FOR SUCCESS This year’s Flaunt - the Thomasville Center for the Arts’ big event of the year - is featuring a stunning I often call her The Un-Official Head of the Townie Chums. You can find her lurking around downtown about as much as me - meet Lauren Atkinson:

1 - Mango, pineapple, or papaya? Mango in Costa Rica is my favorite 2 - Dirt road or city street? Toss up between brick-lined streets versus clay roads lined with tall pine trees 3 - Concert or a play? Yes ma’am this southern girl loves her some country music concerts 4 - Fried pickles or fried Oreos? Fried pickles {more specifically, Jonah’s fried pickles + their dipping sauce - OMG, the SAUCE!} 5 - Gulf or Atlantic? I grew up on the Atlantic Coast {and still nostalgic for same}

collection of dresses made entirely from recycled materials. Except the recycling is so upcycled that you might not be able to tell they’re made entirely from trash. Real, actual garbage! Each dress is the creation of a different artist with support from a local business. The businesses provided the recycled materials, from flyers to metal mesh, and the artists transformed them into wearable works of art. This Friday is the opening nite of Flaunt and will feature a showing of these creations for members only. Not a member of TCA? It’s easy www.thomasvillearts.org/get-involved/membership/. Events scheduled throughout the weekend.

— DAVE RAMSEY ENTRELEA DERSHIP — If you own a business or are thinking of starting one, this is for you! Dave Ramsey teaches fiscal principles from a Christian perspective and this event will focus on topics like time management, goal setting, hiring and firing, etc. TFUMC is hosting this EntreLeadership Simulcast from 8-4 on September 21st. $35 includes lunch and workbook, reserve your seat by contacting J. at j.knapp@scentco.net or 224-0076.
