(North to South) Start your day right with a refreshing stride or cycle along our gorgeous beachside trails, followed by a hearty breakfast at laid-back Tucker in Casuarina or, if you’re closer to Kingscliff, call in for a friendly bite at Shiny Brew, hip Salt Mill or the sweetly named Kettles On Cafe.

Take time to browse the boutiques of Kingscliff or work up an appetite with a stroll along the scenic foreshore, hire a bike, go for a surf or book a stand-up paddleboard to explore calm Cudgen Creek.

Lunch at the iconic Kingscliff Surf Club comes with a side of sea-views (read: absolute beachfront!) or opt for people-watching along Marine Parade at local hang, Choux Box.

Hugging the coastline, journey south to Cabarita Beach for fresh sea air along the winding boardwalk to Norries Headland, rewarding with panoramic ocean vistas. Ease into the afternoon with a soothing treatment at Halcyon Spa or seaside cocktail at Paper Daisy and make your dinner plans!

For casual take-out fish and chips, head to The Stunned Mullet in Cabarita. Book ahead for a dining experience at hatted restaurant Paper Daisy, or head on to Pottsville for elegant wood-fired flavours at awarded Pipit Restaurant.

(South to North) If staying local to Pottsville, start your day with fresh-cooked pastries and barista coffee at local favourite Baker & Farmer or meander up to Hastings Point for family-friendly coastal vibes at Ripples Café.

Take a beach walk, cast a line or go for a paddle at Cudgen Lake (BYO kayak) to while away your morning until it’s time to think about lunch!

Opt for a casual bite beside the sea at Pandanus Cafe, Cabarita or Kingscliff Beach Bowls Club or seek out the tempting Greek menu at Xenia Bar & Grill.

Fit in some sightseeing for the afternoon with a drive up to Fingal Head to take in the striking Giant’s Causeway and Fingal Lighthouse before concluding the coastal food journey at Salt Village around sundown with a choice of Indian (The Bombay Cricketers Club), seafood (FINS) or more at Season. For carnivores head to Casuarina’s Crafty Cow at The Commons.
