L ast year the earth experienced several lunar eclipses [of the moon] with one in particular over the United
States] and several meteorite showers [better known as falling stars] each and every month. The biggest meteorite shower of them all was in December 2007. The amazing fact about this is that we were told the sun, moon and stars were created to be for signs in the very first chapter of Genesis. Today we have more ‘signs’ than we can count. Drought, floods, wild fires, famine and disease are circulating randomly around the globe. Water and food shortages are becoming widespread while the water that is available is too polluted to drink without chemical treatment. The sun, moon and stars have a very direct effect on the earth and its atmosphere. The signs in the heavens that we see signifies the approaching close of ‘The Age of Grace’. These signs are prophesied to intensify until the end arrives! Luke 21:11 says: "… And fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven." Certainly we are living in a time when these words are being fulfilled; but just what exactly is meant by fearful sights? And what about the mysterious ‘phenomenon’ in the heavens that are baffling men.? Luke 21:25, 26 says: "There shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars, and upon the earth; distress of nations, with perplexity … Mens hearts failing them for fear." How many understand prophecy and the things we hear in the news; that these are warning Signs Before Midnight? Acts 2:19-21 “And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of YHWH shall be saved”. August 28, 2007 had very revealing news headlines: Blood-Red Moon Rises over North America; Olmert Offers Temple Mount Sovereignty to the Palestinians; Bush Says Iran’s Actions Could Lead to a Shadow of a Nuclear Holocaust, and Bush Arrives in New Orleans for his 15th Post-Katrina Visit” These headlines appeared on the day of a total lunar eclipse that produced a “blood-red” moon which followed one that appeared just 7 years earlier. The last total lunar eclipse and “blood-red” moon was on July 16, 2000 while U.S. President Bill Clinton, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat were at the Middle East Summit at Camp David. The July 2000 summit failed because of issues over who would have sovereign rights. Israeli Prime Minister Barak did not want to give Arabs control. But, during last year’s total lunar eclipse and “blood-red” moon [of Aug. 28, 2007] Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert offered the Palestinians sovereignty over the Temple Mount. Yes, the Temple Mount was a central focus during both total lunar eclipses and blood-red” moons in 2000 and again in 2007. According to Mitchell Bard, the -executive director of the nonprofit American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE), this is significant because in this socalled Peace Agreement Prime Minister Barak offered to withdraw Israelis from 97 percent of the West Bank and 100 percent of the Gaza Strip. In addition, he agreed to dismantle 63 isolated settlements. In exchange for the 5 percent annexation of the West Bank, Israel would increase the size of the Gaza territory by roughly a third. “…Thus saith YHWH to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken , which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, i and against all Idumea [Edomites or Herodians], which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey”. Lunar or solar eclipses [and blood–red moons] are rare and only occur every 7 years, according to science. However, the next blood-red moon that appeared was only 6 months later (in February 2008). The Old and New Testaments speak of blood-red moons prior to the Great Tribulation which we will address in this issue. Unlike eclipses, meteor shower which originate from the debris of the comet’s tail are quite frequent in the heavens. [The difference between a comet and an asteroid is that a comet moves three (3) times faster. In addition, the movement of comets are said to be erratic and unpredictable]. regions our outer Solar System; The Kuiper Belt and the Oort Cloud. The Kuiper Belt is a belt of icy bodies that extends from Neptune out to Pluto and beyond. Comets from this region are called short-period comets because they orbit the sun in a relatively short period of time. The Oort cloud is a spherical shell that surrounds the entire Solar System and is the main home for comets located nine trillion kilometers from the Sun. Objects from this area are 'long-period comets’ because of the long time it takes them to orbit the sun. Comets are just barely visible with the naked eye and are seen best when illuminated by the sun. When a comet approaches the Sun, or the earth’s atmosphere, it starts to vaporize and burn thus giving off a tail with a glow. A comet's tail can reach up to ten million kilometres long [6.2 billion miles] and can leave behind trails of gas that can extend several hundred million kilometres further. Some comets actually have two tails - one of gas and another one inside made up of dust. Whenever the Earth passes through the tail of a comet, stars dart across the sky. These are known as the 'meteor showers' or “falling stars” that were so visible and numerous last year. ”Thus said YHWH, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; YHWH of Hosts is his name”. The earth normally rotates around it’s own orbital path which has been distinct from the orbital path of comets except for the occasional comet and/or the ones that seem to stray erratically. Recently, scientists have reported that visible failing stars are much more frequent in this decade than in the past. We also know, according to science, that the earth is so out-ofkilter that a section of its orbital path is has become somewhat “warped” and has already intersected with the path in which short comets travel. making collision only a matter of time [an accident that already has a place to happen]. While the sun is so much larger than the moon or earth, the moon has been highly respected since ancient times. attracted to the earth’s gravitational pull. Many count it as an old wives’ tale but the moon was thought to affect the female menstrual cycle as well as human behavior; thus we have the term “lunacy”. Biologically, there is some evidence to support this theory since the average female cycle is 28 to 30 days in duration like the moon. Here's the theory. In the days before electricity, women's bodies were influenced by the amount of moonlight we saw and its gravitational attraction. Just as sunlight and moonlight affects plants and animals, our hormonal functions were triggered by levels of moonlight and its forces. Today, with artificial light every-where and 24 hours both day and night, our cycles no longer correspond to the moon in much the same way. [This is further proof that we are much like the earth…also out of kilter]. “They know not, neither will they under-stand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men…” Psalms 82:5-7
Knowing that the moon influences tides and cycles of the earth’s bodies of water, it’s not far reaching to believe it can influence humans. The moon’s gravitational pull influences the tides by causing two bulges in the earth. One appears in the oceans on the side of Earth nearest to the Moon and one appears on the opposite side which pulls Earth in the other direction, thus drawing the solid earth away from the water. These bulges produce the various tides. Tides are also caused during solar and lunar eclipses and at various phases of the moon.
SIGNS OF THE TIMES: While the planets are also stars [of sorts], YHWH said that the “two lights” were to divide the day and the night. So it’s by the sun and moon that a day is reckoned, that the 7-day week is deter-mined and the (approximate) 30-day month can be calculated. And of course, 30 days x 12 (months) equates to a perfect (yearly circle or) cycle of 360 days (i.e., 360° degrees). Scripture [Gen 1:14] indicates that the sun and moon were made for discerning days, seasons, years and signs:

In opposition to the world’s reckoning of a day, the day begins at sunset (at even to even): “But at the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose to place his name in, there you shalt sacrifice the Passover at even, at the going down of the sun…”. Deuter 16:6.
The seventh (7th) Day (called The Sabbath Day in scripture) was sanctified (ie., set apart from all other days) as a day of rest and Holy Convocation (worship) because YHWH Elohim rested on this day by His own example. How could man change the day day of worship with this information except he do so without biblical authority. “This MONTH shall be unto you the beginning of of months: it shall be the first month of the YEAR to you”. Ex 12:2 “This day came ye out in in the month Abib”. Ex 13:4

The first day of each month is determined by the showing (or lack thereof) of the moon called a New Moon beginning with the first new moon* in the first Month (Abib). [Strong’s *H2318 chadash/hodesh: means to rebuild: renew, repair; a new thing. [The invisible (dark) new moon is like a seed that brings forth newness of life, growth, development and promise]! “Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, the time appointed, on our solemn feast day”. For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. The 1st month is called Abib. The names 4th month (so-called Tamuz) and 5th month (so-called Av) are not noted in scripture. (Tamuz was the name of a false god), but the 4th and 5th months were referred to as just that, the 4th and 5th months. There are seven (7) annual Memorial Sabbaths or Special Sabbaths that the bible has named “The Feasts of YHWH”. These are the Almighty's 'appointment times' and all nations are required to keep these Holy Days versus Holidays. The Most High refers to them as 'My Feasts, My Sabbaths'. Many major events relating to Israel (throughout her history) occurred on these days:
1. The Feast of Passover which falls on 14th day of Abib (the first month). 2. The Feast of Unleavened Bread (the 1st day through the 8th day shall you eat Unleavened Bread). It begins on the 15th day of Abib. 3. The Feast of First Fruits which falls on the 16th day of Abib. 4. The Feast of Pentecost which occurs 50 after the Passover Sabbath [always on Sunday (defined as the 1st day-‐Acts 20:7, 16)]. 5. The Feast of Trumpets which falls within the 6th or 7th month. 6. The FAST of Atonement which falls within the 7th month. 7. The Feast of Tabernacles (the 1st and 8th days). It begins on the 15th of the 7th month. These Special Sabbaths are made even more special to Black males (Hebrews) according to the following commandment: “Three (3) times in a year shall all thy males appear before YHWH thy Elohim in the place which he shall choose; in the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD (ON FIRST FRUITS), and in the FEAST OF WEEKS, and the FEAST OF TABERNACLES: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of YHWH thy Elohim which he hath given thee. Deut 16:16-17
Since the sun and moon were also created to be for seasons, it becomes easy to understand that the sun and moon would continue to play a major role in the lighting and heating the earth. This is clearly supported by the Summer and Winter Solstices and the Spring and Fall Equinoxes. The world, however does not understand the function of the seasons in keeping YHWH’s commandments.

Known to Christians simply as ‘communion, The Passover THE SEASONS and Unleavened Bread and wine has been changed “Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance from a commanded Holy Day to a ‘mere ritual’ that in his season from year to year”. Ex 13:10 is performed at various times in error by all Christians. The season for Passover according to scripture [Num 9:1-3] is Spring-time/the 1st month of the year.

Finally we know that the sun and moon were created to be for signs, but few understand what the scripture is really attempting to convey. Talking an indepth look at this, we know that the sun and moon are stars. A Star is: 1) a self-luminous celestial body consisting of a mass of gas held together by its own gravity; 2) is used as a symbol of rank or merit; and 3) is reflective of the future destiny [a so- called omen]; also in referenced to falling stars]. Falling stars are re-
presented by three (3) things in Scripture: 1. Meteors/Comets, 2. Representation of great destruction and peril [a plague that causes earth great distress] 3. Angelic beings According to the scripture and the two different Hebrew words used for stars (G792 & G4756), there are basically two different categories of stars (ie., the glory of the star): “There are also celestial …and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incurruption: 1 Cor 15:40-42

Finally the sun and moon were created to be a sign. According to scripture, it’s a: flag, beacon, mark, OMEN, evidence, MIRACLE. Signs [H226] 'ôth oth From H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal, as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.: -‐ mark, miracle, (en-‐) sign, token. The more activities with the sun, moon and stars in the heavens is evidence of times and events to come. More specifically, we can understand the approaching times by the prophecies and recent news given to us for that purpose.
The approaching time of miracles These predicted signs in the heavens are scheduled to happen shortly before Yahshua, the Messiah returns to earth; and happen they will. When they occur they will provide unmistakable evidence that one of the Almighty's appointed seasons has begun and that the end of this age has arrived. World shattering events will occur at that time and all mankind will then be come aware of YHWH'S requirements and His anger at the refusal of many to obey His law. These signs in the heavens are also scheduled to happen in the near future at the next major global event in which we await. The “sign” that we must watch for is the middle east peace agreement which is already speaking rather loudly through prophecy in the news.
PEACE DEAL NEVER CLOSER PARIS, FRANCE (CNN 7/13/2008) NEW YORK TIMES (USA) According to CNN.com on July 13, 2008, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, standing with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert says that [so-called] “Israel and the Palestinians have never been closer to a peace deal than now”. Palestinian leader Abbas says “both sides want to achieve peace”. The Israelis and so-called Palestinians have already entered into repeated rounds of talks with Turkey; mediated by Turkey. just before a sweeping summit launching The Union for the Mediterranean. Rev 17:12 “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.” This would bring together leaders of some 40 nations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Muslims and Christians, from North Africa and Asia Minor and the Middle East and Western Europe, lashed together to form a richer and safer east. The atmosphere was friendly when Olmert and Abbas posed on the steps of the Elysee Palace with Sarkozy in the center, arms linked. The formation of a union is a useful lens for seeing how Europe is focusing more tightly on its backyard to solve immediate problems: Muslim immigration, crime and terror, and Russia’s politicization of its energy supplies. The most recent events involving the region’s most troublesome member, Libya proves this point. Mr. Sarkozy’s wife swooped into Libya to help free five Bulgarian nurses and a Palestinian doctor held there for eight years on charges, widely regarded as trumped up, of infecting children with H.I.V. Mr. Sarkozy visited the next day. Then, on Friday, France announced an arms deal with Libya worth a reported $402 million. Most doubtful are Mr. Sarkozy’s hopes for Turkey. He opposes Turkey’s efforts to join the European Union and hopes it would settle instead for membership, and a major role, in a Mediterranean Union. That is unlikely, and raises the question of whether a Mediterranean Union could be credible without Turkey (remember, Troy is in Turkey. Troy/Crimea is the historical central point of commerce, arms, trade and diplomacy between two climates, continents and two civilizations –Europe and Asia—which both belong to The Tartars and Middle Easterners). For engaged European nations — mostly in the south since nonMediterranean countries like Germany tend to look east — there are other benefits: Oil and gas in Libya and Algeria could help insulate them from a less predictable Russia, while also benefiting their own oil companies. For France, it is an opportunity to engage more muscularly in a largely French-speaking region that it has long considered in its sphere of interest. Italy can assert its traditional role in Libya and work toward the greater diplomatic role it aspires to in the region. Everyone seemed to walk away happy: Mr. Sarkozy burnished his credentials as a can-do, out-ofthe-box achiever (though the French opposition called the arms deal unseemly, so soon after the medical workers’ release). French Industry found new customers. And the deal, no doubt, did not hurt French oil interests already investing there. Libya and its leader, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, were able to take several steps out of the darkness of international isolation, without any concessions to changing how he runs the country. If something similar happened on a wider scale, and with more formal structures, it would bring together the vision of Mediterranean integration that Prime Minister Romano Prodi of Italy has been talking about for years. Syria is also considering peace with Israel. President Bashar Assad said that talks with Israel could move toward direct contact but suggested that would not happen until there was a new U.S. president in place (2009).

The Sun's next active period could be twice as energetic as the last one. Sun-spawned cosmic storms that can play havoc with earthly power grids and orbiting satellites could be 50% stronger in the next 11-year solar cycle than in the last one, scientists say. Using a new model that takes into account what happens under the Sun's surface and data about previous solar cycles, astronomers say the next cycle could start as soon as this year (2008) or as late as 2011. They offer no specific predictions of solar storms, but they hope to formulate early warnings that will give power companies, satellite operators and others on and around Earth a few days to prepare. "This prediction of an active solar cycle suggests we're potentially looking at more communications disruptions, more satellite failures, possible disruptions of electrical grids and blackouts, more dangerous conditions for astronauts," says Dr Richard Behnke of the Upper Atmosphere Research Section at the National Science Foundation. Every 11 years or so, the Sun goes through an active period, with lots of sunspots. This is important as solar storms, linked to twisted magnetic fields that can hurl out energetic particles, tend to occur near sunspots. The Sun is in a relatively quiet period now, but is expected to get more active soon, scientists say. “And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, He did fly upon the wings of the wind. The U.S. government routinely conducts experiments on weather modification, and has been doing so for at least half a century. Previously classified under such names as "Project Cirrus" (1947) and "Project Popeye" (1966), weather modification is no longer a secret practice. In fact, a bill (S517) was sponsored in 2005 by Texas Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, a Republican, "to establish the Weather Modification Operations and Re-search Board, and for other purposes." weather experiments without informing the public. This isn't just a suspicion of the United States. The Chinese government announced in April the creation of the first-ever artificial snowfall over the city of Nagqu in Tibet. The event was only one in a series of Chinese weather modification experiments that have been going on for years. China, in fact, now conducts more cloud seeding projects than any other nation. Cloud seeding through the use of silver iodide was discovered as a viable way to make rain clouds in 1946. In 1947, the U.S. military tried to use this method to seed a hurricane, which later hit the Georgia coast near Savannah. In the mid-1960s, similar techniques were used in hopes of muddying the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Vietnam. Men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passes, and cleanseth them. The idea was to slow enemy troop move-ments through the introduction inclement weather, and conversely to prevent foul weather over allies. But cloud seeding with silver iodide is an archaic technique com-pared with newer advances in nano-technology and other methods for weather monitoring and control. Micro-electric Mechanical Sensors (MEMS) and the newer Global Environmental MEMS Sensors (GEMS), are extremely tiny machines used to monitor weather patterns. No larger than dust particles, the sensors are designed to be sent up inside hurricanes and other weather systems in large numbers, re-porting back data as they literally become a part of those systems. This data can later be used to improve weather forecasting and potentially control the weather through a better understanding of the complex mathematics involved in such systems. One goal is to "steer" these systems, sending them to specific targets and increasing or decreasing their size. Another extremely controversial participant in the weather modification game is the infamous HAARP antenna grid in Gakona, Alaska. HAARP, the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, is an enormous array of antennas inspired by the free energy experiments of 19th-century electrical playboy Nikola Tesla. Commencing some-time around 1990, HAARP was only recently declassified, and much of the current research there is said to take place in secret. HAARP fires massive amounts of energy into the ionosphere, heating and distorting a section up to 30 miles in dia-meter. There are various frightening and strange claims made about the project. It may be capable of shifting the position of the jet-stream, which could impact global weather in ways that we still do not understand well other claims about. Claims about HAARP, (such as it is) as a part of a massive government mind-con-trol operation or that it forms the main component of a giant death ray, are difficult to verify. Even in the face of mountains of evidence, many people still believe that weather modification of any kind is only a fantasy. People must be aware that these technologies have been around for a long time, are indeed being used and have great potential for dangerous and unethical uses. The organizations most interested in modifying this system appear to be applying their theories in incredibly irresponsible ways. Rarely acknowledged in the debate on global climate change, the world’s weather can now be modified as part of a new generation of sophisticated electromagnetic weapons. Both the US and Russia have developed capabilities to manipulate the climate for military use. The US military has developed advanced capabilities that enable it selectively to alter weather patterns. The Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics has announced the discovery of a mass of crystallized carbon formerly known as star BPM 37093, now known as the biggest diamond in the galaxy, fifty light years away from Earth in the constellation Centaurus. The star, named "Lucy" after the Beatles song, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," is estimated to be 2,500 miles a-cross and weighs approximately 10 billion-trillion-trillion-carats – [a one, followed by 34 zeros]. Travis Metcalfe, an astronomer from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and leader of the team who discovered the gem says, “You would need a jeweler’s loupe the size of the sun to grade this diamond. Bill Gates and Donald Trump together couldn’t begin to afford it.” The diamond is actually the crystallized interior of a white dwarf – or the hot core of a star that is left over after the star uses up its nuclear fuel and dies. It is made mostly of carbon and is coated by a thin layer of hydrogen and helium gases. Behold the wonderful works of Yah!! A few billion years from now, our sun will die and become a white dwarf. Approxmately two billion years after that, its ember core will crystallize as well, leaving a giant diamond in the center of our solar system. A paper announcing this discovery has been submitted to The Astrophysical Journal Letters for publication. The HarvardSmithsonian Center for Astrophysics is a joint collaboration between the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the Harvard College Observatory. Scientists within the organization are classified into six research divisions where they study the origin, evolution and ultimate fate of the universe.

When we consider the things writ-ten in “The Genesis” concerning Adam, the first son of Elohim [made in the image and likeness of God (Elohim), and Eve, who was made in the image and the likeness of Adam]; and they were placed in the garden to tend it; it becomes quite clear that it was not in winter that the Gentiles (Europeans) claim to be the first month of the year. According to Exodus 12:1-3 compared with Exodus 13:1-10 and Psalms 81:1-4, when compared to the Holy Days of Leviticus 23:1-3, the first month YHWH declared to our people, The Hebrew Israelites, began in the spring. This calendar was based upon a perfect lunar system with 30 days per 12 months which gave each year 360 days or a perfect circle, with each month beginning on The New Moon [Isaiah 14:1221; 66:23-24]. The volume of the sun is so much larger than other celestial bodies that 1.3 million earths would fit inside its diameter. Thus, we should anticipate that it has quite an effect on earth. The sun is composed of immense coils of hot, electrified gas in the Sun’s atmosphere. On April 20, 2007, scientist told The BBC News, that the sun’s atmosphere behaves like a musical instrument. Her “coronal loops” carry acoustic waves in much the same way that sound is carried through a pipe organ. Solar explosions called microflares generate sound booms which are then propagated along the coronal loops. “The effect is much like plucking a guitar string”, Professor Robert von Fay-Sciebenbuergen told the BBC News. The corona is an atmosphere of hot, electrically-charged gas or plasma that surrounds the Sun. The temperature of the corona should drop the further one moves away from the Sun. But, in fact, the coronal temperatures up to 300 times hotter than the Sun’s visible surface, or photosphere. And no one can explain why, but the core of the Sun is 10 million Celsius. The coronal loops arch hundreds of thousands of kilometers above the Sun’s surface like huge fiery mountains and are generated by the Sun’s magnetic field. Solar explosions [micro-flares] can release energy equivalent to millions of hydrogen bombs. Called a Coronal Mass Ejection, the burst when it occurs enhances the solar wind, that can produce a shock wave which could wash over the earth causing floods in various part of the globe. The signs in the sun, moon and stars are the very things that the ancient pagans studied. Astronomy is the study of celestial bodies such as the sun, the moon, the stars, the planets and galaxies. Astrology is the study of the supposed influence of the stars on human affairs and issues while a horoscope is an astrologer's forecast of future events, based on the position of stars and peoples' birthdays. Astrology and the daily reading of horoscopes is strongly condemned in the Scriptures. (Deut. 4:19; 2 Kings 23:5). It was through these sciences (particularly astronomy) that men began to worship the sun, moon and stars (including the Host of Heaven). Proving their loyalty to paganism, they not only named all of the days of the week and months of the year after false gods, but all the planets are named after false gods as well; [Mercury, Venus, Mars. Jupiter, Sa-turn, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto, etc]. What most people don’t know is that The Gentiles were given up to worship false deities (sunworship) while YHWH Elohim, the One and Only True and Living God, revealed himself, his ways and customs to the Hebrew Israelites. Sunworship is religious devotion paid to the sun either as a deity or as the symbol of a deity. The sun was regarded as a deity (a god). The ancient Egyptians worshipped the sun god Ra. The Babylonians were sun worshipers, and in ancient Persia worship of the sun was an integral part of the elaborate Cult of Mithras [ie, Sol Invictus – was the first ‘universal religion’ of the Greco-Roman world]. In Greece the deities of the sun were Helios and Apollo (who were often pictured with a “sunwheel around the head”. While there is a “halo” of the sun and the sign that it normally renders is an indication that rain is on the way, The Nimbus (Arc of the Sun) about the head of according to WPVT, Channel 5, the ring is of colored Mithra is the origin of the Halo for the sun god, Jesus and other Christian figures in art or white light that encircles the sun when seen through a cloud of ice crystals (above). game as a recruitment tool. One tiny problem is that Halo is violent and is rated M for Mature audiences; oh well...but, it’s all for a good cause, right? First the sounds of sniper fire, the thrill of the kill; then the gospel of peace. Across the country, hundreds of ministers and pastors desperate to reach young congregants have drawn concern and criticism through their their use of an unusual recruiting tool: the immersive and violent video game Halo. The latest iteration of the immensely popular space epic, Halo 3, was released nearly two weeks ago by Microsoft and has already already passed $300 million in sales. Those buying it must be 17 years old because of the M rating for Mature audiences. “At the door of the temple of YHWH, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of YHWH, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east… Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose”. Eze 8:16-17
But that has not prevented leaders at churches and youth centers across Protestant denominations, including evangelical churches that have cautioned against violent entertainment, from holding heavily attended Halo nights and stocking their centers with multiple game consoles so dozens of teenagers can flock around big-screen televisions and shoot it out. The alliance of popular culture and evangelism is challenging churches much as bingo games did in the 1960s. And the question fits into a rich debate about how far churches should go to reach young people. Far from being defensive, church leaders who support Halo — despite its “thou shalt kill” credo — celebrate it as a modern and sometimes singularly effective tool. It is crucial, they say, to reach the elusive audience of boys and young men. Witness the basement on a recent Sunday at the Colorado Community Church in the Englewood area of Denver, where Tim Foster, 12, and Chris Graham, 14, sat in front of three TVs, locked in violent virtual combat as they navigated on-screen characters through lethal gun bursts. Tim explained the game’s allure: “It’s just fun blowing people up.” Once they come for the games, Gregg Barbour, the youth minister of the church said, they will stay for his Christian message. “We want to make it hard for teenagers to go to hell,” Mr. Barbour wrote in a letter to parents at the church. But the question arises: What price to appear relevant? Parents, religious ethicists and pastors correctly say that Halo may succeed at attracting youths, but that it will have a corroding influence. In pro-viding Halo, churches are permitting access to adult-themed material that young people cannot buy on their own. “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them”. There are numerous books and products featuring angels. The authors and manufacturers reap great financial profits from selling these items however, none of them have any biblical knowledge on the subject. Taking advantage of people’s ignorance (and being ignorant themselves) some have produced long encyclopedias with hundreds of angels listed with individual names. In this manner, as in the ancient days, angels became idols that people worshipped and thus, their idols were often depicted with wings. Such is the case with the Babylonian & Persian deity you Does the bible speak of ‘angels’? Yes, it does, in many places and with a great amount of detail. One thing is clear – they are not for our entertainment. They are not the product of medieval superstition of mythical thought, but are supernatural spirit beings who are intelligent and powerful beyond imagination!! Placing paintings and statues of angels around is an obvious violation of scripture. Angels have become even objects of prayer for many professing believers. Angels should never be given equal or more attention than what we give to YHWH. (Hebrews 1:1-8). Worshipping angels was expressly forbidden. “Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, And not not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God. Colossians 2:18-19
The Creator Himself is so powerful and glorious that He cannot be approached in person person by human beings. He alone "hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto: whom no man hath seen, nor can see (1 Timothy 6:16).
Angels do not have man's short-comings, and can therefore act for God Elohim) and represent Him when communicating with men and women. They bridge the huge gap between the holiness and perfection of God in heaven and the shortcomings of carnal people on this planet. Angels were made immortal (that is, never to die). However, scripture does indicate that Satan will ultimately be transformed into a man (Isaiah 14:16-20) and cast into the Lake of Fire (Rev 20:10): “They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; [That] made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; [that] open-ed not the house of his prisoners?” Isaiah 14:16-20 “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever”. Some angels are close to humanity, yet unseen by most. The word "angel" is derived from the Greek word "angelos" and the Latin word "angelus", both meaning "messenger." The Hebrew word is “malik”. Angels do not marry or reproduce. (Matthew The W atchm an – The U nited Congregation of Israel
22:30). While any angel sent to execute commands might be called the “Angel of YHWH” this term is distinguished from YHWH Elohim. And yet, it is identified with Him since being in the angel’s presence is equivalent to being in YHWH’s presence. (Zech 1:10-13; 3:1-2). The angel revealed the face of Elohim (Gen 23:30), and in “And of the angels he saith, Who whom was YHWH’s name (Exo 23:21). ”Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. But if thou shall indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto your adversaries. Exodus 23:20-22).

All angelic hosts are not of the same spiritual fabric...Neither are they the same in hierarchy, that is spiritual position or duty, nor of the same bodily form. The truth is based on the support of The Strong’s Concordance that there are 4 different choirs or ranks of angels (Seraphim, Cherubim, Archangels and Angels) each with different levels of authority and within different jurisdictions (and/or realms) of responsibility. Some facts are revealed in scripture and others are implied and require assistance from The Strong’s Concordance for a more precise understanding of the hierarchy. The highest jurisdiction is that of ‘Thrones’ which is closely associated to the realm known as ‘Dominion’. ‘Thrones’ is the royal seat/throne of YHWH Elohim in glory, majesty, might and power. It is a seat of Honor and Judgment that is high and lofty!
THRONES (A Royal Seat) Strong’s# H3678, H3764 & H2362 A Royal place of honor, seat of power and judgment of Elohim, lofty and covered with a hanging or canopy, a seat of royal judgeship or tribunal. Royal power and authority of administration also belonging to (Yahshua), The Anointed One and divinely assigned to Elders. Rarely is the word used as a common seat. “And Yahshua said unto them, Yes, I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel”. Matthew 19:28
Dominion (A Realm/Kingdom(s)/Government) Strong’s# H7985, G2963, H7287 A realm of government or kingdoms, head place, sovereignty, lordship, po-wer that applies YHWH Elohim as the originator or source of all life. Yahshua was divinely given dominion forever in Isaiah 9:6 where it states “and the government shall be on his shoulders”. (Note: 2 Peter 2:10 and Jude 1:8 where dominion and government (G2963) are used interchangeably. Last, dominion (H7287) also means ‘to subjugate’, to tread down, winepress. “And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of Elohim”. PRINCIPALITIES Dynasty/First Place/Princes Strong’s# H3678, H3764 & H2362 Principalities are in families, both natural and spiritual families; the first person or thing in a series, the leader, the active cause of, magistracy, the corner, as soon as instructions were imparted, pow-erful, strong and capable of something either by one’s own ability or resources, whether by permission of law or custom; mighty, great authority, a Prince, Potentate. YHWH Elohim could not be omitted from this jurisdiction since He is the Sovereign Originator of the Holy Family. Divinely ordained, the chief Potentate of the Kingdom of Elohim is the firstborn son, Yahshua; first fruits to YHWH and only be-gotten Son of Elohim. Mentioned in Col 1:16, Eph 3:10, principalities are also chief archangels who provide strength to the tribes (families) of earth to seek, pursue, endure and protect the true faith and have "princely" autho-rity. This includes natural Israelite families as well as the spiritual Israelite family (the church). One of the Chief Princes over all archangels and angels is Michael who is the Guardian of Israel and as a Chief Prince of Archangels, he is a spiritual potentate. They watch over the leaders of the people including forming into bands (Hosts) of War. They also guard those who are heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). “But the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the Chief Princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia”. Powers & Virtues (Power of Authority/Influence) Powers and virtues are jurisdictions of authority and influence executed in various realms and are closely connected since ‘virtue’ is a specific type of power or influence. Powers and virtue extend from YHWH Elohim down to the lowest angel; and even further down to mankind. There are many Hebrew and Greek words in Strong’s related to ‘power’. G1849-exou-sia represents both power (singular) and powers (plural). Let’s look at ‘power’ first: Power Strong’s# G1849 – exousia One’s authority, strength (physical and mental), or right [i.e., right to the tree of life]. It is a liberty (or freedom) of action based upon authority as either a delegated power, or as an unrestrained, arbitrary power. It includes the husband’s authority over his wife (the veil/covering) as propriety required women to cover themselves; a sign of regal authority, a crown!! [Sisters, take note of your head-covering which is a crown to his head and yours]!!! G2479-ischus: de-notes power as a particular physical endowment (gift) of physical strength. G2904 – Kratos: shows this “might” or strength as a manifested power directly from Elohim. H3581-Koach: is the strength of Elohim, animals, produce/ wealth (of soil), and of a small reptile (unclean) believed to be extinct. H410-al or el: Power of Elohim, Elohimlike, Mighty Men, (includes false gods-idols). H8280–Sarah: a prince/princess) a leader, to contend with, order soldiers, persist, persevere. H5794- az: force, fortified, impudent, harsh and cruel (of a king). H5797 –oze: material, per-sonal, social or political strength of Elohim and of men, respectively. H3201- yakol: power of an overcomer. H2428 & H2429 – chayil: wealth, force, army, warlike. H4910-mashal & H4475-memshalah: to rule, take domin-ion, princes, chief rulers. H1369- gebuwrah: bravery, mighty deeds of Elohim. Other words related to power (singular) are G970-bia; G1753-energeia; and G1411-dynamis or dumamis which is the Greek word that is connected to virtue and the realm of ‘powers’ (plural).
Colossians 1:16, "For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven and earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him”. Virtue Strong’s# G1411 & G703 G1411-Dymanis: is the inherent power of a thing by directed by it’s nature. (This is the reason why we are told we must be born again through Yahshua who must and will change our nature). It is moral excellence of a soul and power of influence that belongs to riches and wealth. It is the power arising from numbers (both good and evil) and the power that rests upon armies, forces and hosts (good and evil). Through this power of heavenly hosts, angels perform miracles, bestow encouragement and blessings, courage, grace and valor. It is said that the two men standing with the Apostles at the Ascension came down with virtue and power to bestow more upon Yahshua (Acts 1:10-11). G703-arete: is a morally excellent course of thought, feeling or action; modesty and purity of heart. By virtues and love, will men be forged into perfection which will shine forth in our calling and in salvation for those who will be heirs as guided by the heavenly host of virtue. ”Put on, as the Elect of Elohim, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing (sustaining) one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you ye (upon repentance), so also do. And above all these things (virtues) put on charity (love), which is the bond of perfectness”. Colossians 3:12-14.
SERAPHIM: H8413-saraph (Burning, fiery creatures) Seraphim are fiery angels with six wings who circle the throne of YHWH Elohim. These Fiery ones; wings, eyes, and voices, flaming angels; watch the throne of God's glory as intermediators of his divine will. Their only job is to worship ElohimJob 24-7. An odd physical appearance, seraphim are described as great wheels (Strong’s H8314-fiery serpents) covered with a many eyes and glowing with light. They are Spirits of Will bringing holiness and justice and are sometimes called wheels. This fiery love gives them the term 'fiery serpents' since the light they give off is so intense that not even other divine

beings may look upon them. His description of these bodies is of both eyes and wheels. The term "full of eyes" H6859 is ayin for physical eye representing mental and spi-ritual faculties; figuratively a spring/fountain of living waters (wisdom). They are all-seeing, all knowing in the omniscient and omni-presence presence of YHWH. Ezekiel describes the relationship of these wheels as being a a wheel within a wheel. (Read Eze. Chapts 1 & 10). “Above it (the throne) stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with 2 he covered his face, with 2 he cov-ered his feet, and with two he flew. One cried to an-other and said: 'Holy, holy, holy is YHWH of Hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!" (Isaiah 6:1-3).
CHERUB H3742 & H2416 Cherubim are the 4 Living Creatures discussed in detail in the Hebrew Yisrael Lite article, The Winds Of Change, 2002; Notes from the Elder. They are not cute, little and chubby but are terrible and meet out the judgments of YHWH. The 4 living creatures each have 4 faces (ox, man, lion and eagle) and their wings are full of eyes. They guarded the Garden of Eden, flank the Ark (ie., throne), and form the base of the chariot of Elohim (Strongs; Ezekiel Chpts 1 & 10).
Seraphim & Cherubim Acting impartially with humility, both bring about the desires of YHWH Elohim. Seraphim and Cherubim together serve the function of being Elohim's chariot connect-ed to his throne by the wheels in between and above them; The covering (rainbow canopy surrounds the throne) . As with the Cherubim, the movement of these “wheels” has no variation and is directly related to that of the four beasts that support the throne. The wheels only move when the in the same "direction" that they do. This is confirmed in Ezekiel 1:36, where the prophet said: ‘the purpose of the living creature(s) was also in the wheels”. In summary, the living creatures move only according to the divine will/purpose of Elohim (wheels); the two agree!!
ARCHANGELS - G743 (Chief angels, political rank/power) The Archangels communicate between God and mortals or humans. They are in charge of heaven’s armies in the battle against the sons of darkness. The Archangel supervises the "guardian" angels and are themselves guardian angels to the elect and heirs of Elohim. Watchers-H5894 are angels, guards, like Gabriel (Archangel).
ANGELS H4397 & G32 The Order of angelic hosts closest to humans are angels under the supervision of Archangels. Angels are not a race, but a company of beings; innumerable in number. Created higher than man (Heb 2:7) they possess mighty strength and are not bound by natural laws but can travel great distances very quickly as spirits (Dan 10:12-13). They are messengers who appear in a Flame of fire (Judges 13:19-20), yet human believers shall judge them (1 Cor 6:3).
DEMONS/UNCLEAN SPIRITS Evil angels (or demons) were holy angels of all ranks who fell before the fall of mankind (Adam & Eve). Lucifer was an Archangel who fell through vanity, pride, self-will and rebellion. Drawing 1/3 of the angels, they left their own habitation or command post (principality-Jude 6), thereby committing sin (2 Peter 2:4). They were created perfect but due to selfwill in desiring their own interest rather than YHWH’s, they fell. They lost their original holiness and be-came corrupt in nature and conduct (Matt 10:1). Some were cast down to hell (Tartarus from Tartaros) and are held there in chains until the judgment day (2 Peter 2:4). Tartarus in Strong’s (G5020) is defined as the deep dark abyss, (i.e., black hole). Other evil angels are free to oppose the work of good angels (Rev 12:7-9. Dan 10:12,13, 20, 21).
