Volume 3, Issue 2 – February 2002 “I have set a watchman upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night. You that make mention of YHWH, keep not silence”. Isaiah 62:6

W as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream truly a ‘vision’ from GOD (Elohim)? And if not, what was it?

The media, in particular, has had much to say about King’s dream like the 1998 expose’ in Life Magazine entitled “The Dream, Then and Now”. However, in spite of anyone’s opinion of the benefits [or lack thereof] of the civil rights movement, we have to begin to examine the realities of life as it was for Negroes back then, compared to the lives of our people now. Unfortunately, it requires research on the lives of our people as slaves; [something we now seem afraid to talk about]; our lives as sharecroppers [just after being freed], up to the times in which we were born. This will provide us with the tools we need to really analyze our [socalled] progress before and after the civil rights movement. Then we can look at it for what it is and not what we are told it is. We should use our instructions for moving through life, according to the bible, which “prove all things”, hold fast to that which is good and abstain [stay away from] all that gives the appearance of evil”. 1 Thes 5:21-22 “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

In talking to many of our people, it is not difficult to find those who will tell you that they know our people [American Negroes] are the holy [ancient] Hebrew Israelites of the bible. And actual research [not the research Gentiles tell us about] proves that they are correct. That means the bible is our legacy…our heritage – stories about the lives of our people and of our relationship to the GOD (Elohim) we claim to serve. Digging deeper into the media stories, while using our own biblical handbook, we can examine civil rights and the debate that surrounds it. KING (left) SHOWN DURING A CIVIL RIGHTS MARCH IN MEMPHIS, TENN. ON MARCH 28, 1968; THE SAME YEAR OF HIS ASSASINATION. 1 Sam 8:1, 4-5 “And it came to pass, when Samuel was old, that he made his sons judges over Israel. Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.”

As told in the scripture above, as our forefathers did in the land of Israel, no longer wanting to be ruled by judges that GOD [YHWH] chose to lead them, they sought themselves a ‘king’. In this land of ‘bondage’, as history repeats itself, we once decided we needed a ‘king. We even had hopes that King would run for office of the President of the United States. In a CNNfyi.com news article entitled Chasing The Dream, the article highlighted the fact that it was under Martin Luther King, Jr.,’s leadership that we [Negroes] desegregated ourselves. It also examined the reason Martin Luther King, Jr. was selected as the ‘icon’ of the Civil Rights Movement when there were so many other notables who had similar struggles and ‘dreams’. The article began with the caption Chosen To Serve and continued to summarize the reason for King as the leadership choice: “King’s education and vision made him an ideal leader”. Referring back to the bible for direction, putting our hopes and trust in anything or anyone before the True and Living GOD is considered idolatry and adultery. This is because those who do so break the first commandment that is to love YHWH with all our hearts, soul and mind – for he is a jealous GOD [Elohim] and will not take second place worship from his creation [Exodus 20:2-5]. The article quoted Reverend Joseph Lowery, a civil rights activist, as saying, “We were all young; we didn’t recognize age, we recognized ability and never worried about someone’s race, age or gender”. But our GOD commanded that we respect age over youth [Lev 19:32], that gender has it’s own place [Gen 5:2 in that order] and that we avoid following after other nations, mingling or inter-marrying with them [Neh 9:2, Deut 31:16]. As a family of 12 tribes [of Israel], we were even advised not to marry from tribe to tribe [Num 36:6]. Lowery continued, “He was relatively new in town, didn’t have a whole lot of political enemies as others had, and his disposition and education were the best suited for leadership” [according to man]. King entered college at 15, worked on his Master’s degree at 19 and had a doctorate by the age of 26. C. T. Vivian, another activist who worked closely with King said, “I do not know any other person with a doctorate degree in the Deep South, black or white, who was in the pulpit.” [The pulpits of early Negro churches are quite a clue to this ancient prophetic puzzle. Only able to liberate our minds during slavery, our people lifted themselves with Negro Spirituals and eventually learned to understand ‘Massa’s’ language through learning to The W atchm an – The U nited Congregation of Israel

read; but we read with ‘Massa’s interpretations of what we were reading, just like we do with the bible…even unto this very day. Thus, reading [education] became our hope for obtaining freedom and not YHWH whom we claim to serve. The bible [our own legacy] was used by Euro-Gentiles to redefine our existence --- misnaming us as Gentiles and justifying slavery by verse-picking selective pieces of scripture. Having erased our heritage from our minds, along with our language, these things [and the Willie Lynch educational process] placed the shackles back on us….only this time, on our minds. In an article entitled “Destruction Series: Organized Mis-Direction”, the issue of the mis-education of the Negro is examined. It stated, “The elements of ‘enslavement education’ established the training grounds to destroy the Black mind.” Quoting Carter G. Woodson’s powerful and insightful Mis-Education of the Negro, Woodson stated, “Blacks who are trained under racism, in institutions that do not protest, are cowards and in life will continue as slaves in spite of their limited emancipation”. But Blacks, themselves, did protest through civil rights, but what good will protesting to Massa do? It was with the intent of lifting up Euro-Gentiles into a status of power, wealth and position that the Negro was placed under Massa’s foot in the first place! Do we expect Massa to give us the riches from his own table? Why do we expect Massa to ‘police’ Massa?! These are ‘hard sayings’ for many of us to comprehend. But, he who hath an ear, let HIM hear…[Rev 3:6]. The Civil Rights Movement was our moment of ‘unified” protest to Massa yet our own plight remains largely unchanged. When looking our situation squarely in the face, instead of being offended by the truth, will it become easier to discern that the system of mis-education of the Negro has been so successful that very few Blacks realize that we were and continue to be tricked. The story of Samuel and Saul tells the reader the story of how Israel rejected Samuel the Prophet [whom YHWH spoke directly to] and sought a human king to lead them. [1 Sam 8:6-7]. It is the same story and reason why we selected Martin L. King, Jr., to represent us and the reason why his leadership came to an abrupt end…as did Saul’s. We are also told in Deut 31:16, that the children of Israel, in spite of their eternal covenant [marriage vows] to YHWH, joined their forces with those of strange nations in the land, and how YHWH would punish them for their idolatry and adultery. Knowing we’re the same people means it is also the Negro’s story here in this ‘barren land’…. In rejecting the Hebrew way of life, we rejected YHWH…just as our forefather’s did in the days of the Judges of Israel. Martin Luther King, Jr., was a Baptist minister who had been one of many to teach the Children of Israel [Negroes] a Christian doctrine, and not King, deep in thought at an April 1967 press conference in Atlanta, GA., announced that he would Hebrew customs and laws. He taught the not run for the U.S. Presidency. He was assassinated doctrine that our promised land was going to the very next year [1968]. heaven and not Israel; that the Messiah came to redeem the whole world and not “the nation of Israel first” [who would be a holy nation of priests to the world]; and that the laws of YHWH were nailed to the cross; [and through faith in believing in the name of Jesus -- a false name for the Messiah, one could be saved. WHAT A SPIRITUAL DILEMMA !!! But there has always been a remnant of Israel that remained in the world preaching the truth about the “true” The W atchm an – The U nited Congregation of Israel

identity of the Negro and all the holy things that were given to Israel. Is it possible that King, in his so-called religious calling, encountered this truth through remnant believers and discovered “his own true identity” at some point? IT’S HIGHLY POSSIBLE!!! There is one thing that we do know for sure, as Moses sinned and did not cross over into the promise land with Israel, King followed in his footsteps. YHWH gave Moses the reason in Deuteronomy 32:28-51 which typifies the actions of King: “…Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh…because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.”

The “I Have A Dream” speech was given on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the [infamous] ‘March on Washington’ in 1963. King was assassinated 5 years later on April 4, 1968 but, prior to his assassination, he’d written a different kind of speech earlier that year entitled: “Where Do We Go From Here?” This was the same year that Negroes sent their own communities up in flames during the race riots in Chicago! Race riots were common place during the civil rights movement years [1962-1969] making 1968 the most violent year of racial riots in history; [after the “mother” race riot of them all -- Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1921 perpetrated by Whites]. The speech indicated that America, it’s white citizens and all of their systems would have to be changed…[to be “born again”]. A true prophet knows that the only one who can change the deep-seeded racist ways of any man or society is the Creator who made man. In essence, King did not appear to know exactly WHERE or HOW to go from there. But in response to King’s question [“Where Do We Go From Here?”], a comment was stated so well in the Daily Pennsylvania, written by Ronald Kim, a 4-year Black Linguistics graduate from Pennsylvania University in 2000. He stated, “Currently, Negro children are not aware of the details of politics of the outside world, but as they look around at their own poverty, corruption and second-class treatment, they can see the hypocrisy of adults! King’s birthday – supposedly a celebration of the Negro’s social progress – is a painful reminder of a world that the kids and youth can see is well beyond their reach.’ In 1964, only a year after the March on Washington and the ‘dream speech, another civil rights leader angrily said, ‘ I don’t see any American Dream, I see an American night-mare!” …’As it is to this very day!!! 

OUR ROOTS RETURN According to the Final Call and Grinnell College research, for two years now, scientists at Howard University have been studying the DNA of Negro slaves buried in New York’s African Burial grounds. Funded with $5.4 million from the government and contributions, the study has linked Negro slaves to the northwest coast and central Africa. There, tribes of Negroes like the Ashanti and Yoruba, thought to be African, flourished in the culture and traditions of Hebraism. This agrees completely with the Discovery Channel’s documentary on the Lemba tribe, now in southeastern Africa, whose oral tradition [and DNA testing] ties them to the land of Jerusalem, Israel. [Euro-Gentiles fail to realize, as they compare Negro DNA to that of the so-called Jews (Israelis), that Negroes ARE the prototype for Hebrews…not the other way around]. But, the DNA testing also agrees with a Grinnell College research article entitled The The W atchm an – The U nited Congregation of Israel

Scarlet & Black. The writer, Jay Sand, a journalist from Harrisburg, PA., spoke with Grinnell students about his own travels in Hebrew communities in Africa. Sand first learned of Negro Hebrews from a friend who studied abroad in Kenya. Communities are still located today in Kenya, Nairobi, Uganda, Ghana, and Zimbabwe [where the Lemba are located]. Negro Jews from Ghana are widely believed to have come from Timbuktu, a major trading city in Mali in 1500 AD. Jer 42:17 “So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the fam ine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.”

According to Sand and his friend, the Jewish leader of Ghana [who hoped he would be given a kingdom] collaborated with the British who came to colonize Africa. Being intrigued by Judaism, many British converted, but eventually under British dictatorship, many Jews of Ghana underwent forced conversion to Christianity causing the remnant tribes to practice Judaism in secret until liberated from outside rule. They practice the dietary laws [clean & unclean], circumcision, keep the Sabbath Day [Saturday] and keep the Old Testament feast days. The bible says YHWH’s people have always had a zeal for GOD, but not according to knowledge [Rom 10:2]. The American Negro’s past is linked to Africa but we are not AFRICAN. Until our people research and prove this fact, we will remain alienated from YHWH and our true identity. 

The ‘Lincoln’ Lies We Bear “Can we all get along?”, another King [Rodney] once asked. According to Abraham Lincoln, the answer is “No”. But, according to the bible, YHWH did tell Hebrew Israelites [Negroes] that we were to remain separated [called-out/holy] and not join to the ways of strangers. Abraham Lincoln felt the same way; having absolutely no love for [and basically no like of] Negroes. Let’s get one issue straight once and for all. The American Civil war was not about slavery, nor was America ever intended to be a multi-racial society. Lincoln passed the Emancipation Proclamation to free Negro slaves to break the economic backbone of the southern Confederacy. [End of story]. In 1862, as found in several speeches and Lincoln autobiographies, Abraham Lincoln said it in this way: “I can conceive of no greater calamity than the assimilation of the Negro into our social and and political life as our equal…”

[Pres.] Abraham Lincoln, August 14, 1862

“They shall lay hold on bow and spear; they are cruel, and have no mercy; their voice roareth like the sea; and they ride upon horses, set in array as men for war against thee, O daughter of Zion.” Jeremiah 6:23

A critical analysis, featured on The Showcase Network covered the speech and book of Lerone Bennett, Jr. Bennett is the Executive editor of Ebony Magazine and author of a 1999 book entitled “Forced Into Glory”. In a crowd of Abraham Lincoln admirers, Bennett told the crowd that Lincoln be lieved that ‘Blacks were inferior to Whites and did not have any human rights in America. He was no friend of the Negro’. Fellow speaker and Lincoln Scholar, Allen Guelzo, said at the end of the Civil War, Blacks had a different view of Lincoln. He recalled from his research a crowd of recently freed slaves mobbing Lincoln with gratitude when we he was visiting Richmond, Va. Lincoln was called “Father Abraham” and was compared to ‘Moses and Jesus Christ’ by many Blacks

The W atchm an – The U nited Congregation of Israel

during that era,. Even Frederick Douglas, Negro abolitionist, pro-claimed Lincoln “the colored man’s president’ in spite of their constant sparring words during Lincoln’s life. Bennett’s book, Forced into Glory: Abraham Lincoln’s White Dream, (Johnson Publishing, 1999) according to Euro-Gentiles “is a bitter, scorching, 652-page assault on Lincoln’s undeserved reputation as a friend and benefactor of the black man.” Bennett, a Negro who grew up in segregated Mississippi, follows Lincoln’s career in close detail, showing the gross contrast between his splendid rhetoric of “equality” and his consistent practical record of opposing the betterment of blacks. WHEN WILL WE [AS A PEOPLE] REALIZE THAT YHWH IS OUR ONLY EMANCIPATOR?

John 8:36 “If the Son [Yahshua the Messiah] therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Lincoln supported Jim Crow laws, opposed civil rights for blacks, desired the colonization of blacks abroad, fought and frustrated abolitionists, endorsed the Fugitive Slave Act, and tried, at crucial points, to save slavery. 

SLAVERY REPARATIONS Referring back to the Lincoln era, we can see Black people are still holding onto the lies about slavery reparations…the “40 acres and a mule okey-doke” on the Negro!! Even though it is a historical fact that such a declaration was made, after examining centuries of facts that prove “it will never happen”, why do we believe it will? YHWH said his hand is still outstretched to us, but our hands are still held out toward Massa! (Did you know that the Hebrew word for ‘Massa’ is “burden”??) Isa. 5:25 “Therefore is the anger of the LORD [YHWH] against his people, he hath stretched forth his Hand against them…and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.”

In January 1865, during the Civil War, General William T. Sherman and Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton met with 20 Black community leaders of Savannah, Georgia. Gen. Sherman issued Special Field Order #15 on January 16, 1865. The order, on a national level, would grant each freed slave 40 acres and an army mule to work the land; thus, the 40 acres and a mule we’ve come to depend upon. All land confiscated and abandoned became the jurisdiction of the Freedman’s Bureau, which was headed by Gen. Oliver Otis Howard (Howard University). However, during the summer and the fall of 1865, President Johnson issued special pardons, returning the property to the exConfederates. Howard, then issued Circular #13, giving 40 acres as quickly as possible. However, having learning of this, Johnson ordered Howard to issue Circular #15, returning the land to the ex-Confederates again. EuroGentiles have very heavily laid their yoke upon Hebrew people! Isaiah 47:6 “I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

Slavery reparations have recently be-come one of the biggest methods of shamming Blacks who readily pour out their personal data looking for this elusive 40 acres and a mule ‘handout’. But had they been listening to the recent position that the U.S. National Security Advisor, Condoleeza Rice, has taken, dismissing reparations, they might have thought again. Rice indicated during the last quarter of 2001 that there was plenty of blame to go around to African and Arab countries as well as the west, regarding slavery. Rice continued by telling NBC’s “Meet the Press” that we need to look forward and not point fingers backward. Rice’s comments came after a U.N. conference on racism adopted a final declaration stating slavery and colonialism was an injustice, but recommended debt relief to African nations [those who sold us to Gentiles] instead of 40 acres and a mule to us.

NOTES FROM THE ELDER PRIEST YaCHOV BEN ISRAEL….. (YHWH is pronounced Yahweh; He is The Most High, The True and Living God of Israel)

FALSE PROPHETS

In the hour that we live, there are so many things that are false and evil, we must constantly be on guard and "prove" or test things, lest we become ensnared by something that is wicked. [These are wise and eternal words to heed for all those who truly seek the GOD of Israel]. It is important for all to know the test for discerning a true prophet; which is to examine whether the prophet’s words are of the “Holy Spirit” [which is the word of YHWH] or words and dreams of his own. One major fault of Christians is that they quote men, like King, on certain subjects instead of referring to the bible YHWH gave us. In that bible, YHWH gave us laws/commandments and judgments for daily living.

“Thou shall not follow a multitude to do evil”. Exodus 23:2 To their error, Christianity calls YHWH’s law [His wisdom] obsolete. While it is true that the Holy Spirit [the word of Yah] will lead us into all righteousness and truth, it is also true that the words of a prophet, when he speaks, must agree with what is already written [the words of Yah, including the law and the prophecies]. This truth is manifested in this scripture: Isa 8:20 “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

The testimony of Yahshua the Messiah is the spirit of prophesy; leading you back to the bible [the word] once more. Without a doubt, there is not one commandment written that does not tell us how to love Yahweh or our neighbor. So, anyone who says that YHWH’s commandments no longer apply to man, are not heeding the Spirit of YHWH (Yahweh), but creating his own standard. It’s also written that man shall not live by bread alone but by "every word" that proceeds out of the mouth of Yahweh, (Matt 4:4). [These words were spoken by Yahshua]!! Civil Rights was not in accordance with our biblical instructions!!!

Psa 119:150 “They draw nigh [near] that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.”
