COLLEGES + DEGREES OFFERED We offer more than 100 majors to suit all interests. And if you’re unsure about what you’d like to major in, we’ll work with you to discover your passions and unleash your potential. >> go.arizona.edu/degreesearch

Beyond our 100+ majors, we have even more academic offerings in the form of minors, double majors, double degrees and dual degrees. A minor is a secondary field of study to your major. It may complement your major, or it may be in a completely different academic field that you find personally interesting. A double major means you complete the academic requirements for two different undergraduate degree programs. Students can double major in fields that offer the same degree type (BA, BS, BFA, BSB). If you want to double major but the academic fields offer different degree types (BA, BS, BFA, BSB), you can earn a double degree. A dual degree results in two degrees — typically a bachelor’s and a master’s. A dual degree typically shortens your time of study by one year, which is why they are also known as 3+2 programs. Some of the most popular programs include MBA, law and pharmacy.

There are many ways to get involved on campus. The UA’s diverse Greek community offers fraternity and sorority members countless academic, leadership and service learning opportunities. In addition, the Associated Students of the UA, better known as ASUA, is the University’s official student governing body that offers 600+ student clubs and organizations. You’ll also have the chance to cheer on UA student athletes surrounded by a few thousand of your closest friends in the ZonaZoo, one of the largest and loudest student cheering sections in the nation. The UA has 17 different NCAA Division I sports teams, including the nationally renowned men’s basketball team — repeatedly one of the top-ranked basketball programs in the country.
