Plan General measuring and drawing technique: Using a flat edge metal ruler where the measurements begin at the edge, I aligned the ruler to the rocket measure the overall height.
1:1 Scale @A4 paper
160mm
Individual pieces were measure by removing the necessary piece before using the ruler to acquire the measurements.
For a more accurate measured drawing, the rocket was assembled on Rhino 5 with the top and front view exported. After the drawing scale was confirmed and the image adjusted accordingly, the images were printed

Analysis
All internal connections utilise this type of notch based system. The connections are similar to jigsaw puzzle pieces in which the deliberately cut notch allows for pieces to slot into each other smoothly.
Further more, this system requires that both pieces have to be perpendicular to each other. As a result the profile extends from one dimension into another and create a 2D profile.

The dimensions of the notches are paramount to the proper functioning of this connection system, If the gaps are to wide, the connection will be loose, to narrow and it wont accommodate the second piece.

The 3d profile of the rocket is the result manipulating the notch system in conjunction to the extrusion of the horizontal modules onto another dimension The rings provide the round profile of the rocket ship. The profile is given its 2D shape. The notches on the edge attach perpendicular pieces, extruding the model into the third dimension, thus creating the 3D profile of the rocket The number of notches also add more elements to be attached to the ring

Digital Model

Digital Model making: Utilizing the Rhino template provided, Assembling the model was separated into the following steps.
Step one: template
Step one: preparing the template by extruding the curves to form the 3d pieces with a thickness of 3mm.
Step two: building the legs by rotating the vertical pieces using the gumball function to rotate and move to slot the pieces into the right arrangement.
Step two: Leg assemblage
Step three: body assemblage
Step three: building the body using the same methods and technique during the leg assemblage.
Step four attaching the four pieces together on the six notch rings

Sketch Model
Reconfigured Model: The aim of this model was to explore the angles of which the connections were made on. Previously on the rocket ship, the notches are design to connect at right angle. In this model, The central profile of the rocket was re-imagines to utilise 45-60 degree connections instead of the typical 90 degrees. This variation allows a greater expansion of defined volume without using extra materials to increase the size of the components.

Sketch Design #1 Warning, security, defensive shoulder pad
Hidden State
Exposed State
Hidden Blades
How does this respond to your personal space?
The shoulder pads contains moving components which extrudes blades when contracted under fear. The hidden surprise is to add a level of caution to enemies.

How does this respond to your personal space?
Exaggerates the personal space needed to open and close a fist. Thus others will always stay way from a fixed person space around the fist

Sketch Design #3 Attach, Detach, modular, adapt
Potential attachments (water bottle)
Modules
How does this respond to your personal space?
The modular design and the ability to attach objects allows a greater level of customization by the wearer. Thus the shape, size will match whatever the wear feels comfortable in.
