Raising children is such a joy. To see them change and grow and become adults makes my heart happy. A few of my friends have sent their oldest children off to college this week and are experiencing the empty nest syndrome. I am sure I will feel the same way but there are a few things I will surely love to have changed:

Tape - this is constantly missing at my house. Currently my tape dispenser from my desk has gone MIA and of course “nobody” took it.

Scissors - Something else that seems to be always missing at my house. This year while back to school shopping for my kids I bought myself a new one and put my name on it. I doubt that will deter them but lets hope so. Hair Ties - We buy these over and over again at my house (aka pony holders) and they just disappear. They aren’t cheap either and they are gone within a week. If you have a house full of boys you will have no idea what I am talking about. Socks - These actually aren’t missing at my house they are left everywhere. I find pairs of socks at each door and on the living room floor. I am pretty sure everyone that lives with me must hate socks because they rip them off their feet the second they step foot into the house.
