Lancashire Business View
We found The Villa Wrea Green to be a great choice of venue for our Young ‘Uns networking event in April 2016. Young ‘Uns brings together young professional and entrepreneurial business people in Lancashire and the networking events have proved to be very popular. The Villa provided great service in helping us to deliver another successful event. The sun was shining and we were able to use both the indoor and outdoor space which worked to the benefit of the event and the team were very helpful in all aspects of event management. Heart Beat Ladies Day 2016
On Friday 13th May the annual Heartbeat Ladies Day took place at the beautiful Villa in Wrea Green. With over 90 ladies in attendance and the sun shining luck seemed to be on Heartbeats side on this unlucky for some date!
Rosette for Culinary Excellence
Following on from our four star Hotel rating by the AA Hospitality. We have now achieved a Rosette by the AA Restaurant Guide for Culinary Excellence. Lisa Riding Heartbeat Fundraiser said – “I would like to thank all the ladies that joined us on the day along with our wonderful speakers Helen Clitheroe and Ranvir Singh. A big thank you also goes to the team at Garstang’s very own Bombshell Betty Boutique for the super fashion show, the volunteers from Barclays Bank for assisting in the raffle and auction, Ken Dagger our auctioneer, Will Strettle for providing the balloons and to The Villa. Your staff were amazing thank you Nathan for our toastmastering and general awesomeness as well as all the other staff who helped to make our day so brilliant. From start to finish David and Kathryn were so very helpful and Rachael was able to help me when I was having a guest meltdown just days before we were due to arrive.
You accepted our crazy Star Wars Theme and helped me to keep our guests from the empire a surprise from Simon, I am so grateful, he was so chuffed. If anyone is thinking of getting married here, Do it, book early to avoid disappointment as surprise surprise, they are a busy bunch and marvel in the amazingness of the staff and how flipping lovely they all are.
