University of Central Oklahoma's School of Music will present Baby, a Tony nominated musical at 8 p.m. April 11-13 and 2 p.m. April 14 at Mitchell Hall.

Directed by Billie Thrash, a UCO adjunct instructor and veteran of six other UCO productions, Baby concerns the story of three couples in their 20s, 30s and 40s and how their reactions differ to pregnancy.

Thrash said the play deals with elements of comedy and drama and should be both entertaining and interesting to people of all ages.

"It deals with some serious issues," says Thrash. "Not everybody reacts to the impending parenthood the same. For better or for worse." Baby stars UCO music theater students Amanda Sasser, Jonathan McElroy, Abby Redmon, Chris Milburn, Jessica Chesbro and Jay Krottinger.

Chesbro, a freshman theater major plays Pam, a 30-something high school coach who wants to a have a child. She says that though the play is more serious, "Through the seriousness, the humor is more brought out." Baby, with music composed by Richard Maltby Jr., first appeared on Broadway from 1983 to 1984. CASTLE: 'No pressure to make it big' continued from page 4

"As long as I still get enjoyment out of it, it is worth it and there is no pressure to make it big," he said. In his song, "That's Alright With Me," Castle writes, "Money and fame they ain't every thing. I don't need to go to Nashville to sing...I sing my songs in a little town, where all the old folks gather round, to hear what they call true country sound. That's all right to me."

Jeremy Castle's current CD, Jeremy Castle, can be bought online at www.amazon.com and www.cdnow.com , and at Borders and Barnes & Noble booksellers in Oklahoma City and Norman.
