Abubakary Jawara signs Business Deal with Dubai enterprise
After receiving his prestigious African Personality Award at the recently concluded The Voice Achievers Award 2021 in Dubai, Mr. Jawara took no time to settle down for business. On the sideline of the award ceremony, he met and signed a business deal one of the royal family member of the Dubai dynasty, His Excellency Awad Mohammad Sheikh Mogrin, the chairman of Dubai Travelers Festival. During the business meeting, they discussed many important issues, cementing more bilateral relationship between the two countries. They went on sign agreement on future relationship. “We believe that the people of the Gambia and the people of Dubai share lots of things in common, and we can strengthen our relationship between the two countries’ says Mr. Jawara who was very impressed with the development he has seen in Dubai. Although the Gambia is a much smaller country but we are ready to develop and expand the country for

international growth. We now have a President, President Adama Barrow who is working very hard to put the Gambia back to its rightful place in the League of Nations around the world. According to him, we are attracting global partners to come and join us to develop the country for the benefit of the people. His agreement with the Dubai businessman would create more job opportunities for the people of The Gambia, it will create more job opportunities for the people of the Gambia, increase our GDP, open more opportunities for small business owners in the Gambia. The people of Dubai as well as the royal family of Dubai really appreciate the people of the Gambia; it’s a pleasure and honor as a Gambian to establish relationship between the two countries.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the government and people of Dubai for their support and friendship, I will assure them of warm welcoming in the Gambia, and it will increase our tourism and businesses industries. May Allah continue to bless the people of the Gambia, he prayed.
