KENTUCKY OAKS 142 FASHION CONTEST Everyone knows that Oaks and Derby are a time to look your best. Guests who felt like they particularly pulled out all the stops participated in this year’s Kentucky Oaks Fashion Contest. Pink was the suggested color of the day, but the Downs-going ladies showcased their creativity with their finest dresses, jewelry, hats and fascinators. The contest took place on the pink carpet on Oaks Day, and despite a high turnout, judges were able to narrow it down and declare Shannon Wyman the winner. For the effort put into her delightful ensemble, she was awarded a highly coveted Longines timepiece.
