TEACHER AIDE (Alternative Education Programme)

Student Attendance Officer/Receptionist

To start 24 April 2023.

We are looking for a special person to join our dynamic team. You will be working with students ranging from Year 7 to 11. The job will require you to support learners who are taking part in alternative and individualised programmes. The successful applicant will be supported by a teacher who will have responsibility for administering the programme. This position is for 20-25 hours per week, term time only, and is fixed term for 2023.

The role is primarily focused on student attendance and managing the student reception. The applicant will preferably have had some administration or reception experience, although this is not essential. If you like working with teenagers, are patient, steadfast, flexible, and have a sense of humour, this could be the job for you.

The position is 37.5 hrs per week, term time only, and is permanent. Hours are from 8am - 4.00pm. Pay for this role is in accordance with the Support Staff Collective Agreement for Secondary Schools.

Days and hours can be negotiable. Minimum 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Please note you must be legally entitled to work in NZ and be willing and able to commit to 12 months minimum to be considered for this role.
