Lightning Frank is the Group winning son of in demand sire Black Magic Opal. NEXT we have a litter of nine pups, by Melbourne Cup winner and under-rated sire, El Grand Senor (April 2008 Where’s Pedro x Elgrando Gold). Registered by Catherine Field breeder, Louis Marie, the five dogs and four bitches, are from the well bred bitch, Dee Jay’s Sniper (October 2012 Spring Gun x Cash In Transit), whose dam is by Most Awesome x Miss Infront (Token Prince x Risky’s Girl). Greyhounds in the home FOSTER A GREYHOUND: There are many greyhounds who need a little more assistance to help them settle into pet life They fall into two categories Greyhounds who are transitioning from the track and need help to pass their GAP assessment OR Those dogs who have been a marginal fail at their GAP assessment These dogs are just gorgeous happy greyhounds, the only difference is that need a little more help to transition into pet life The reality is that without foster carers some of these dogs are at risk If you would like to change the life of beautiful dog contact Rebecca and join her team ____________________________________________ Hope I get a sit on my new couch one day Shane Browning

Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) launched the Victorian greyhound racing Hall of Fame at a gala function held at the Sandown Greyhound Racing Club on July 12, 2009. In total, 36 inaugural inductees were presented and honoured throughout the night.
The 36 inaugural inductees fall into three broad categories: • The Pioneers (8) – recognised by the selection committee as having shaped greyhound racing’s early days. • The People (15) – includes trainers, breeders, owners, administrators and other prominent personalities. • The Greyhounds (13) – includes achievements on the racetrack and at stud.
The development of the Hall of Fame commenced back in April 2008, when the GRV Board decided unanimously to support the establishment of a Victorian greyhound racing industry Hall of Fame, to preserve its history and honour the icons of the sport.
Victorian Hall of Fame inductees are usually announced at the annual Victorian Greyhound Industry Awards, with a maximum of four inductees added in any given year. http://www.grv.org.au/hall-of-fame/
Greyhound Racing Victoria Hall Of Fame About Hall of Fame
Subsequently, steering and selection committees were appointed to develop and finalise the project, including the coordination of research on the initial Hall of Fame nominees and then eventually the chosen inductees. The Hall of Fame recognises and enshrines both the people and greyhounds that have made a most significant contribution to the Victorian greyhound industry since the commencement of non-proprietary racing in 1956. It has also recognised a small number of individuals – “The Pioneers” – who have made an outstanding contribution to the sport prior to 1956.
Harold Matthews and Ken Carr are both members of the GRV Hall of Fame.
