He raced 61 times for 21 wins and 20 placings, earning $538,600, with Group 1 wins in the Topgun, Harrison-Dawson and Sale Cup. Goeffrey’s litter of four dogs and four bitches are from well bred bitch, Dundee Kestrel (May 2014 Barcia Bale x Crown Poker), whose dam is by Boris Reigns x Chat Line (Just The Best x Paris Willow). John Got It Right AIRPORT WEST breeder, John McNamara has a beautifully bred litter of eleven pups on the list this week, by the well bred sire, Hostile (April 2012 Collision x Restless Style). The four dogs and seven bitches, who should attract interest from prospective buyers with future breeding in mind, are from the very well bred, former Tasmanian bitch, Get It Right (January 2013 Cosmic Rumble x Ferly Gain), whose dam is by Tims Crow* x Bay Goddess (Super Mint x Magic Goddess). From a litter of seven named, who all won, she raced 33 times for 11 wins and seven placings, winning five times over 461 metres at Hobart (26.00), four times over 452 metres at Devonport (25.68) and twice over 515 metres at Launceston (30.18). It has long been my opinion that he has been under-rated as a sire, and looking at his success in Ireland/UK, it could be that Australian breeders have underestimated him. His pedigree certainly stands up well, and his ability on the track was unquestionable. Looking at his sons at stud, a number of them have been under-rated here as well, particularly Dee Winter, Radley Bale and Take The Kitty who have all produced winners from their limited opportunities. If you are thinking of breeding, remember him. - 10-

Certainly plenty to like about the pedigree of these well bred youngsters, with names like, El Grand Senor, Premier Fantasy* and Token Prince on the sire side, then SH Avatar* and Head Bound (Head Honcho x Sobbing Sal) on the dam side.

FROM daughter, to father, we conclude this week’s NSW reviews with two nice litters by the highest ever US stakes winner and international stud success, SH Avatar* (May 2010 Kiowa Mon Manny x Tom S Caterwaul). She has winners on file from her first litter, of six named, whelped in October 2015 by El Grand Senor. Londonderry breeder, Christopher Carl has the second SH Avatar* litter, which has four dogs and five bitches, from the successful producer, Subway To Venus (May 2012 Smooth Fancy x Nitro Sandy), whose dam is by Closing Argument x Steve’s Charity (Token Prince x Thai Charm) and worth recalling, Thai Charm is by Rapid Journey x Thai Magic (Grove Whisper* x Lauren’s Desire). She is from a litter which included, Amber Dancer, 16-2-0-2, Amhem Steel, 9-0-0-0 and Lotto Lobo, 3-0-1-0, with her record reading, 21 starts for three wins and ten placings, with two wins over 535 metres at Richmond (30.77), where she also won over 400 metres (23.02) and worth noting she was placed over 520 metres at Wentworth Park. She has six named offspring on file, all winners, Curtain Call, Fast Car Driving, Rhythm Section, Rostered On, Subway Miss and Sydney Thomas, who were whelped in December 2015 by KC And All*.

Happy 4th birthday Titan!! You goofball .... special treat! Virginia Porter Mt Dandenong

Bought a bag of turkey necks. This is Saffi chowing down on hers. Feel a bit sorry for Abby whippet though - gave her the smallest in the bag and it is still almost as big as

5kg Jack Russell won this round. Poor Walter. Sasha Habermehl

Greyhounds in the home FOSTER A GREYHOUND: There are many greyhounds who need a little more assistance to help them settle into pet life They fall into two categories Greyhounds who are transitioning from the track and need help to pass their GAP assessment OR Those dogs who have been a marginal fail at their GAP assessment These dogs are just gorgeous happy greyhounds, the only difference is that need a little more help to transition into pet life The reality is that without foster carers some of these dogs are at risk If you would like to change the life of beautiful dog contact Rebecca and join her team ____________________________________________
