Certainly plenty of variety in this selection of litters by this outstanding young sire, who is taking all before him right across the country. With 32 bitches in total some of these litters should attract plenty of interest from potential buyers with future breeding in mind. There are quite a number there that look like substantial prospects as foundation brood bitches.

Reigning Melbourne Cup winner Aston Dee Bee has been retired to stud after dropping a back muscle. He retires with 35 wins from 65 starts and more than $809,185 in prize money, the sixth highest in Australia’s history. Clearly the number one sprinter in Australia six months ago, Aston Dee Bee will stand at stud from mid-July, and let’s hope many of his progeny can show as much brilliance and determination as he did throughout his illustrious career. __________________________________________
Punters paradise TAB has been offering a special Trifecta promotion during the month of June, with this weekend providing the last opportunity to capitalise. All Victorian-based TAB account holders who place a Trifecta bet between races 1-4 at The Meadows this Saturday night will have their stake replaced with a Bonus Bet of up to $50 if they get two out of three placings correct. Meanwhile, punters can also look forward to a great day of racing on Sunday afternoon with heats of the Group 2 Bendigo Cup (425m). The $67,000 final will be run on Friday 6 July (night).
Our next meeting is two weeks away 8 July – all grades catered for – give your dogs a treat and enjoy a morning at Virginia. Trials will be held each Sunday – bookings to Trevor please – commence at 8.30 am. Please note that the Club will be providing the venue for the “fastest dog in Australia” series again this year. This will be held on Saturday 14 July from 9am so therefore the track is NOT available to key members on this day. Thank you for your patience. Greyhounds in the home FOSTER A GREYHOUND: There are many greyhounds who need a little more assistance to help them settle into pet life They fall into two categories Greyhounds who are transitioning from the track and need help to pass their GAP assessment OR Those dogs who have been a marginal fail at their GAP assessment These dogs are just gorgeous happy greyhounds, the only difference is that need a little more help to transition into pet life The reality is that without foster carers some of these dogs are at risk If you would like to change the life of beautiful dog contact Rebecca and join her team ____________________________________________
