The Crystal Room ,. Our Crystal Room is simply stunning – with a contemporary neutral décor and mood lighting which encompasses hundreds of tiny crystals – providing both a beautiful and also a dramatic backdrop to your celebrations. Fully air-conditioned and with its own private bar, The Crystal Room can accommodate a Wedding Breakfast for up to 130 guests. For those couples who would like to hold their Civil Wedding ceremony at the same venue as their wedding celebration, The Winchester Hotel and Spa is an ideal choice as we are fully licensed to hold your civil ceremony for up to 130 guests in our Crystal Room.

Terms and Conditions
,. All Wedding packages are subject to availability. Provisional bookings We would be very pleased to make a provisional Wedding booking for you. All ‘provisional’ bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days and any bookings which are not confirmed after 14 days (as per the hotels definition below) will be automatically released. Confirmation of your booking We require the following in order for the hotel to be able to confirm any provisional Wedding booking. • A non-refundable, non-transferrable deposit of £1,000.00 (including VAT) when the Registrar or Church is booked. Please note that we are unable to accommodate a Wedding Ceremony or arrival after a church service prior to 12.30. • A signed booking contract, detailing the requirements for your Wedding (provided by the Hotel). • Signed Terms & Conditions of booking (also provided by the Hotel) which will apply upon signing the booking contract and paying your deposit. When all of the above are received and then counter - signed and returned to you by the hotel your booking will then be considered `confirmed` by us.
Wedding Party Accommodation We would be delighted to offer you an allocation of 15 bedrooms for your Wedding guests for the night of your Wedding. If your Wedding is taking place on a Saturday, accommodation is priced from £140.00 per room (subject to availability) based on two sharing, inclusive of breakfast. If your Wedding is on any other day, the accommodation rate will be offered at our Best Available Rate for that night (as it appears on the day that your booking is confirmed) and discounted by 20%. To obtain these discounted rates all accommodation must be booked directly with the hotel. As this offer is subject to availability some dates will not be eligible for this rate and we will be able to advise you further on this at the time of your enquiry. For any guests who would like to extend their stay to include nights other than the date of the Wedding, our Best Available Rate will be offered on any additional nights. Check-in time for all accommodation (including Bridal accommodation) is 2.00pm on the day of arrival. We cannot offer an earlier check-in time. If any of your guests have a lengthy journey, we strongly recommend that they book and stay the night prior to the Wedding in consideration of this. Miscellaneous All deposit and final balance payments must be made by electronic bank transfer (BACS) and appear as cleared funds in our bank account by the dates your payments are due. Minimum numbers for all the packages are 50/70 adults for the daytime and 70/90 for the evening. Please note, package items cannot be removed, exchanged or discounted. Numbers below this may incur an additional room hire charge. You are required to cater for a minimum of 80% of your evening guests. For Weddings taking place at the end of November and throughout the month of December, only the Winter Wonderland Package is available at its full price. Alternatively, the Hotel is able to offer a bespoke package to the full value of the Winter Wonderland Package. Complimentary civil ceremony room hire of the Crystal Room does not include the Registrar’s fees. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that all legal preliminaries to your Wedding are completed and that the registration office is available to conduct the ceremony.
