I loved visiting the charities. It really gave me an insight into charitable organizations in Winnipeg.

I really enjoyed being able to work with my committee to make a change within our communities.

This year, I learned how awesome Winnipeg communities are and how we all help each other in times of need. I found the granting experience and site visits as a way to know how much YiP members can have an impact in our own communities!

YiP allowed me to gain leadership skills and meet other people from outside of my committee who were also passionate about giving to their community.

The best part of YiP this year was everything! The site visits were an excellent opportunity for youths to go out into the community and get involved. It was a very formative experience and helped me to learn a lot! It was a great experience, to see the passion that youths have for philanthropy and for our community.

Even though the pandemic is still continuing, we have continued to do our part to learn about and help the community!
