What VT Group offers Access to government funding VT provides access for employers and learners to subsidised training. We offer a broad range of qualifications, including apprenticeships, advanced apprenticeships, NVQs, skills for life, technical certificates and bespoke courses. Tailored and quality training VT works in partnership with employers, awarding bodies and government agencies to create bespoke and blended solutions to meet their individual requirements. Through this approach we have achieved quality accreditations from standards bodies in both the private and public sector. Financial and commercial leverage As a large FTSE-250 company, VT is able to draw upon its broader capabilities and customer base. This includes the ability to establish dedicated and specialised training schools, raising finance where required and drawing upon the company’s training, information and communications technology, systems and project management specialists to create best-in-class learning environments.
Case studies Advanced training for BMW’s technicians VT operates the BMW Group Academy in Berkshire. This provides 24,000 training days a year to UK-based BMW, MINI and motorcycle dealership employees.
Giving EDF Energy’s apprentices a firm foundation We deliver an intensive residential engineering foundation course to EDF’s nuclear apprentices.
The Royal Navy’s training partner VT has been the Royal Navy’s training partner since 1996, supporting its major training establishments and providing around 250,000 hours of training annually.
