Back in June I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the Cowgirl Lounge at one of Kent’s most fashionable locations. Nestled in the outskirts of Canterbury in Kent, is home to the beautiful Cave Hotel & Golf Resort. The venue has recently become a popular destination for many of their special experiences, from their Firepit Restaurant, luxury rooms, incredible 18-hole golf course, The Korean Cowgirl restaurant and now the Cowgirl Lounge.

From the moment I arrived, I was very impressed by the beautiful surroundings. The Cowgirl Lounge was elegant and sophisticated. A place you could imagine relaxing with a cocktail or two!

The lounge has been created for guests to move seamlessly from drinks and light bites to dinner, taking a seat in the Cowgirl Lounge dining areas to choose from the renowned Korean Cowgirl menu which features group executive chef John Bingley’s low-and-slow cooked Cowgirl Meats, which are cooked in the house offset smokers by the in-house pitmasters.

With this being our first visit to the restaurant, I was recommended the Smokehouse BBQ Boards and it certainly did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the overall ambience of the restaurant, from the music and live saxophonist to the friendly staff really made the evening one to remember.

Open from 7am till late the lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea, signature cocktails, lite bites, or Korean Cowgirl food. Why not take your drinks out onto the decking area and cosy up next to the Firepit’s as you watch the sunset over the stunning golf course.
