Many little fishing boats are mooring in it and from that spot, one can see the close coast of the island of Ithaca. All the traditional and Venetian buildings have therefore been preserved and give to the village a unique charm and atmosphere; all the village’s buildings are under a special preservation order and considered as part of the traditional inheritance.
