Recommendations “To recommend Thiago to you is a privilege, although it may appear that I am biased, since he is my daughter’s husband and my grandkids’ father. However, Thiago is someone I admire for his increasingly humble dedication, his constant study and application of the Scriptures and his commitment to his family and ministry. He seeks to live daily under the guidance of the Word. I am very happy with the prospect Thiago has to separate a part of his life to deepen his understanding of the Scriptures, enabling him to be used as the Lord’s faithful servant. It is his desire to correctly handle the Word of Truth, specifically through the ministries of teaching, making disciples, and counseling biblically--areas in which he has already shown desire and inclination. Without a doubt, preparation at SEBTS will better enable Thiago to reach his ministerial aspirations for strengthening the church of Christ.”

The course at SEBTS will provide the tools they need to continue developing their many gifts and abilities in the service of the King. The couple's maturity, their ease in making transitions, English skills, teachable spirit, youthful energy and young family combine to make this an ideal moment to take advantage of the opportunity before them for the advancement of their ministerial preparation. -- David Merkh

References “Thiago, Karen and Enzo Zambelli are very dear to my heart. They are second-generation students, because Karen’s parents studied under my guidance at Word of Life Bible Seminary. Let's start with Enzo. I can say that Enzo is a smart boy (he chose his parents and grandparents well); he is also very loving, sensitive and obedient to his parents. A great start! Karen and Thiago were my students, and my heart grieved when they told me they would quit school to become more directly involved in the ministry. The academic potential was so remarkable that the word waste came to my lips (and, thanks to God, died there before being pronounced).
References “The time they have devoted to their local church and, after that, to missionary work in Northeastern Brazil, certainly was not wasted. During this time, God instructed them through hope and pain, through study and evangelism, and it became clear that they must combine academics , where they proved so capable, with church ministry, where they have shown themselves so sensitive (and effective as well). People who are committed to God’s Kingdom will certainly consider this new phase in the preparation of Thiago and Karen Zambelli an investment with out-of-this-world dividends. I heartily recommend this beloved family, certain that God will do even bigger things through them.

References "The Brazilian church lacks zealous Christians who believe in the inspiration, inerrancy and sufficiency of the Holy Scriptures, who possess the skills to apply Biblical truths to the everyday lives of men and women and who are engaged in biblical counseling to help Christian and non-Christian people in the light of God's Word. I believe Thiago Zambelli may be one of those people. I believe he will contribute significantly to strengthening the ministry of biblical counseling in our country (Brazil), both by helping many people and also training Christian counselors to accept the Bible as the source and authority to solve the serious dilemmas and conflicts that accompany men and women throughout history."
References “Because of his commitment to the Word of God, his balanced personal and family life and his academic ability coupled with a godly life, I believe it will be very important for Thiago Zambelli to acquire the tools of a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling at SEBTS. I gladly encourage you to support him in this noble purpose.” -- Sérgio Ribeiro

References “I would like to recommend to you a marvelous couple. Having hearts burdened for evangelism, Thiago and Karen Zambelli have been serving as missionaries in Northeast Brazil with the JUVEP mission for four years. In addition, Thiago, a young Brazilian theologian, has blessed many people through his blog, Todah Elohim. Thiago and Karen have plans to pursue a masters in Biblical Counseling at SEBTS, after which they would return to Brazil to both minister to families as well as work in an academic setting to prepare other Biblical counselors to treat the crises and challenges of families. To invest in the lives of Thiago and Karen, faithful and approved servants, is to invest in the future of the beloved nation of Brazil and in eternity. -- Mark Ellis

When I think of him, my mind immediately goes to Paul’s instruction to Timothy, what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Thiago is one of those faithful men whose mind and heart is such a clear witness to the truth and grace of God. I am excited about Thiago coming to study with us at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and anxious to see how God will deepen and strengthen an already strong mind and merciful heart. I look forward to seeing how God will use Thiago in Brazil to teach and train others to provide counseling that merits the name of Christ.” -- Sam Williams
Financial Challenge
Financial Challenge To keep our support meeting our needs. Because of the actual Brazilian economy status, the Dollar exchange has reached a much higher level. It almost doubled it since we arrived in the US.
Financial Challenge Below is the graphic of how much the Dollar exchange has increased in 14 months. R$ 4.15 Sep/25/2015
R$ 2.30 Jul/30/2014
Financial Challenge Let us demonstrate how our situation has changed:
We currently have 35 Brazilian families supporting us financially. Let’s say each one of them was donating R$ 200.00 per month. In July 2014 = U$ 86.96 (each family) In Sept 2015 = U$ 48.19 (each family)
We now receive from Brazil 45% less donation because of Dollar Exchange.
Financial Challenge Would you like to help us finish our goal? Our Biblical Counseling program at SEBTS finishes in December of 2016. There are mainly two ways to help us financially. 1. One-time donation 2. Monthly support
Financial Challenge Would you like to help us finish our goal? >> One-time donation << You donate it once – any amount. This will help us to take a big breath while we consider other options to raise support so we can finish our program.
Financial Challenge An option for one-time donation

Financial Challenge Would you like to help us finish our goal? >> Monthly support << We still have 15 months to finish the program. With this option, we would not have to invest extra time concerning and planning how to raise funds.
Financial Challenge Being a monthly supporter This is the ideal way to support this project. There are few ways to be a monthly supporter. Please, contact us if you are willing and available to contribute.
