We start with hand shaping all of our protos to dial in that magic board for our riders’ needs. Our custom built blanks start off with one of three basic rocker types based upon the kind of riding style and performance desired from each shape. The Flight line internal structure features 100% low stretch Dyneema fibers wrapped around a floating neoprene core. We use only 100% Dyneema fiber, which is ultra high-modulus polyethylene. The fiber has extremely long chains of plastic molecules, with molecular weight numbering in the millions, usually between 2 & 6 million. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone by strengthening intermolecular interactions. This results in a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic, & in normal people terms this means that Dyneema kicks ass!!

The biggest and best wakeboarding event in the US moved locations in 2010, finding a new home in Bull Shoals, AR. BROstock brought the music, athletes, and party down to the dirty south this year. 20 of the World’s best wakeboarders were on hand to battle it out for $25,000!! With at least 400 boats and over 2500 people on hand to witness the madness, the competitors slugged it out and threw down some amazing tricks throughout the day. Defending BROstock Champion Danny Harf came up big again as he stuck the 2nd 1080 ever landed in competition! 2010’s BROstock turned out to be one of the most progressive contests ever, with Danny Harf

repeating as Champion, followed by LF’s Adam Fields in 2nd and Adam Errington in 3rd. Liquid Force’s Free for All, presented by Skull Candy, event series was brand new for 2010! Born from the idea of bringing new riders to the sport, we teamed up with our Official Cable Parks throughout the US to offer a day of free riding. Each participant had the opportunity to demo all new Liquid Force product on-site throughout the day. In addition, they received tips and pointers from Liquid Force’s top team riders, and each rider received a gift package full of goodies from participating sponsors such as Skull Candy, Monster Energy, Spy Optics, Supra Boats, and Wakeboarding Magazine . Texas Ski Ranch (Austin, TX), Wake Nation (Cincinnati, OH), Kansas City Water Sports (Kansas City, MO), and McCormick’s
(Tampa, FL) were the four stops on the tour, and we’ll look to expand that moving into 2011! Liquid Force Founder Tony Finn stated “Everyone at Liquid Force is very excited about the Free For ALL! When we started wakeboarding, we didn’t want it to be a sport where you need to buy an $80,000 boat to participate. My first wakeboard boat cost $1,000 and I shared it with 2 other people!” He continued “Now, with Cables, it’s a lot cheaper to enjoy and experience wakeboarding!! We’re so stoked at how many people came out and had a great time at LIQUID FORCE’s FREE FOR FREE ALL DAY’S!!!”
