40TH RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY MARKET MONITOR

The SCSI recently published the 40th edition of its Residential Property Market Monitor – Review and Outlook 2023. The report was featured on the front page of the Irish Independent and in The Irish Times business section. It received excellent coverage across national and local newspapers. Broadcast coverage was across the airwaves. John O’Sullivan, Chair of the SCSI’s Practice & Policy Standing Committee, was interviewed by Bryan Dobson on RTÉ and Matt Cooper on Today FM, among other stations like Newstalk, Cork’s 96FM, Wicklow’s East Coast, and LMFM in Louth.

The SCSI has used this research to raise awareness of our concerns with regard to the rental market. Other bodies, such as the Irish Property Owners Association, cited our research to seek further changes to support landlords.
