New Water Tank System for Macadamia Irrigation

Macmandu Nursery is a Macadamia grower located in the Northern Rivers in NSW. The Nursery recently installed a Heritage CT80 water tank, with a capacity of 353,947L. The tank will supply irrigation to just over three hectares of nursery, which produces Macadamia seedlings for commercial macadamia orchards.

In this closed loop system, the collection dam recovers rainfall and irrigation runoff from the nursery where the water is treated to correct pH and to neutralise plant pathogens before it is pumped into the CT80 tank for irrigation. Greg Jones, Macmandu Nursery Manager was very pleased with the tank system, saying, “We are very happy with the quality of the tank! It’s just what we needed”
