World movies
In a class with a student from Thailand, four students from China, two Japanese students and a teacher from Australia, it only seemed natural that a section on world movies would pop up. Here everyone recommends a movie from their own country.
I changed this movie from Almost a Love Story to this because I watched this one recently, and I also think it’s better. The movie is about a teenage boy’s re- gret in love during the period of cultural revolution in China. Although the movie is old, I can still relate to the emotions. By the way, Jiang Wen the director, is my favorite Chinese director. I recommend his other movies, too.
