BOOKING
Want to hear Yes more?
One of the very BEST ways to grow your customer base is booking parties. When you book a party it’s a guarantee that you’ll be introduced to new customers– which is why this method is tried and true if you’re in a party-plan direct sales company.
It goes like this–you book the party, the hostess invites her friends and family– and for each person that attends you reach a whole new circle of peeps. AMAZING! This can really help you grow your biz. But bottom line, you have to ask!
bookings… If you don’t ask, the answer is always, you guessed it, No. So basically, if asking for bookings is something you struggle with you need to figure out a way to be brave. You have got to put yourself out there. No ifs, ands or buts about it. It’s just part of the direct sales business. Good news… the more you ask–the more practice you’ll get asking, and the more times you’ll hear yes! When you get a no, just know that you are one step closer to a yes.
Here are 3 Tips to help you hear yes So a little tough love for those of you more! that are having a hard time ASKING for
Tip #1 Always end with a question and specific options. When you put yourself out there and ask for bookings, if nothing else, you need to remember this one point–always end with a question. Which is all about ACTUALLY asking, not beating around the bush. Lay it out clearly and simply. Make it easy for this potential hostess to
say yes and layer it in with excitement of course, here’s an example: “I’m really excited about our Summer Guide and I’d LOVE to give you and your friends first dibs. Would you like to pencil in a show for Tuesday or Sunday? Did you want your party to be at home, online, or I know a great cafe we can all meet at!”

Tip #2 Layer exclusivity with a sprinkle of at your party!” scarcity! A great way to increase your chances of getting a “Yes!” is to include When you use scarcity, she’ll want both in your ask. to get locked in because FOMO is real (Fear of missing out!). Here are a couple Exclusivity will make people feel special– ways you can increase bookings using because you thought of them for a scarcity. “I only have two dates left on special reason. Say something like: my calendar this month–would you like “I know you’ve had your eye on (that the 10th or the 15th?” or, “I know there product) and I would love to offer you an will be sellouts–I’d hate for you to miss exclusive deal to snag that item for free out!“
Tip #3 Have a simple sign that says–”Book a Party, Get a Bag!” Another great idea is to do a giveaway when you hit your goal for bookings! This is great strategy for inside your VIP group or to encourage those online When you’re doing a vendor event or parties. For example: “After we book 6 in-home party be sure to have booking parties, I’ll do a random giveaway for bags on hand! People love to feel special one person to get a $25 credit on their party order!” and a little something goes a long way. Leverage booking incentives! There are a few different types of booking incentives that you can utilize depending on the type of situation you’re in. Here are a few examples.
A booking bag is essentially a little treat that you give out when someone books a party with you! And this doesn’t have to be anything expensive–seriously just a few things you can pick up at the dollar spot at Target work great!
This will give a little extra push for people to book, and help you get you to your booking goals! Again, this creates exclusivity and scarcity!
NOW, GO GET THOSE PARTIES BOOKED! There you have it–a sure way to get bookings. Now, just ask! Aim for booking 2 parties from each party. At that rate, your business will grow exponentially.

Toss a few multi-color index cards into your bag. Use a different color for each day of conference. Make two cards for each day. Label one “Wow, do it now!” and the other “Love it for later!”
Bring your cards with you to training sessions and when you hear an idea you want to implement, jot it down on a card!
Prioritize and decide which ideas you want to start immediately or can be put on the shelf for later. When you get home, you simply pull out those cards and you have the best ideas front and center and can put them to work!

your next team member is sitting right beside you!
Ever sit in a crowded waiting area and go down the line, trying to figure out where someone might be from based on how they are dressed, what they are reading, the sound of their voice, or a dozen other telling signals? Okay - well first, don’t judge me! Second, before you dismiss the idea, think about how you could apply the technique at your parties or on the go - to determine how to approach someone about joining your team! HA! See my OCD is paying off in spades! So, put your Sherlock hat on and really start listening to the woman who loves everything, the one who can’t afford much, the one who’s looking for a job, the one who is always bored or wanting something to do because her children are grown. Plug in to the gal who talks about wanting to stay home with their children (even if she is all rolled into one woman). She might just be your next PEQA hidden behind last summer’s June issue of Southern Living right there in the dentist office! Stranger things have happened, girl! Trust me! Talk to her - get to know her - hand her something else to read like the Summer Style Guide - not that we don’t adore SL! Get the picture? Now, go get the PEQA!

Hide the Hashtags in 4 easy steps! 1. After posting, start a comment 2. Add a period, asterisk, or other symbol each on a separate line 3. Add hashtags all together and post your comment
No problem! Add your hashtags to the first comment on your photo after you’ve posted it. Claiming the first comment keeps your caption clear and concise, and helps your followers focus on the words and your message instead of the hashtags, but they are still searchable.
Posting all your hashtags in your first comment makes your post captions look less spammy, keeps your audience invested in the message of your post, and ensures you get all the visibility you can from your hashtags - and your content! Give it a try! Especially at conference!
