Galway Film Fleadh
Each year Galway Film Fleadh welcomes a diversity of filmmaking from all around the world, crossing all generations and cultural backgrounds. The 35th edition will feature inspiring and entertaining films and events bringing together everyday cinephiles to share in the wonder of cinema. Discover more about this year’s festival on page 4.
Galway International Arts Festival
Celebrating on a larger scale than ever before across theatre, music, circus, dance, visual arts, comedy, street spectacle and talks over 14 exciting days and nights, the GIAF 2023 programme is its largest and most ambitious programme to date! This is going to be a Galway Arts Festival to remember.

Galway Races
Known as ‘race week’ locally, this week-long festival traditionally draws hundreds of thousands of people from all over Ireland and worldwide. Featuring seven days of unrivalled race day action, Galway Races notably includes the widely renowned ‘Ladies Day’, which combines the very best in racing and fashion for the pinnacle of the summer racing calendar.

Corrandulla Agricultural Show
Set across 40 acres, Corrandulla Agricultural Show is a family fun day out complete with animal showing competitions, home produce and baking competitions, food and market stalls, top show jumping, fun fair and artist stalls. There really is something for everyone!.

Galway Garden Festival
This July, the grounds of Claregalway Castle will come alive once again with a colourful combination of plant traders, expert speakers, artisan food and craft producers, as well as a host of musical entertainment and open-air performances.

LiveStock Music Festival
LiveStock Music Festival is a fun, and family friendly event which brings together fantastic independent music, art, food, entertainment and activities. Clifden Summer Music Festival
Clifden Summer Fest is a brand new three day music festival which will be hosted in the beautiful Clifden Showgrounds. Featuring a wealth of fantastic musical acts, including The Stunning, Mike Denver, George Michael & the Rising Sons and more!

Galway Uke Fest
The Galway Ukulele Festival hosts an annual weekend of concerts, street event spectacles, competitions, workshops and more, all celebrating the wonderful sounds of the Ukulele. Confirmed artists for this year’s festival include Ukulele Simon, League of Ukulele Gentlemen, Zoe Bestel, Róisín Erskine, The Sneaky Tequilas and the Galway Ukers.
