HELLO!
Hi, I’m Shelby - a seeker of light and a lover of adventure.
As someone who fully believes people should never stop growing, I love learning about the people I come across. Even more, it’s incredible when I get to document their story along the way.
The mountains are my home, and I am sucker for cold weather. Take me to a city, and I’ll be counting down the minutes till I can get back out! I love the smell of campfires and evergreen trees. (a little TOO much) Nature is SUCH an important part of my life, and (if my photo name didn’t already tell you that, hehe)
I hope I spend the rest of my life traveling to soak in every bit of beauty that lies within this Earth.
I am not a JUST a photographer – someone who takes pictures because I have the ability. I am ME: a woman who thrives to share light with others through the outlets God has blessed me in. Photography happens to be an amazing role I am able to do that through. I will always be a light seeker - moving to grow, wandering this pathway so that I can bring to other what God has given to me.
I am so excited for the potential of our journey together in this season - it is meant to be blissful and beautiful, and I hope to help bring peace to you both. 2024-2025

I aim to take my passion of pursuing to know people at a deeper level - their hearts - to better bring who they are to life through imagery.
I LIVE for candid moments and the details within them: barefoot, messy hair, dirty dress, and rich love. I aim to capture life and the realness within it, and real life is not perfection. Therefore you shouldn’t be in your images; instead you should be
captured living in moments of happiness, feeling the wind on your face, the earth beneath your feet, and your hands encompassed in the ones of Your Love.
My goal is to work with you to feel known; to create a space where you feel safe enough to be authentically you. Cause we can agree, that’s the best thing to be, right??

SO YOU JUST GOT ENGAGED, EH??
Congratulations to you and your fiancé! I understand how difficult elopement planning can be. You are probably thinking, “Where do we even start?!” I aim to make this process easier for you both so you can focus on what is truly important – each other!
I am all about documenting real moments. Smiles, laughter, tears, singing, dancing, WHATEVER it may be, it is REAL; it is the foundation of what defines a memory, and memories are what we cherish our entire lives.
My style leans more on the earth, grainer, film-esque side, but I desire to keep colors alive and beautiful. I very much enjoy studying natural light and how it constantly shifts. In this I LOVE watching how it falls on objects, and learning how to wield it best!
As you already read, I strive to get to know my couples genuinely. I hope to go into your wedding day feeling like good friends, and that we can create an expereience that best reflects your story.

START TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE PARTS, QUIRKS, AND QUALITIES THAT MAKE YOUR LOVE UNIQUE, IT ALLOWS ME TO TRANSLATE THAT INTO MEANINGFUL PHOTOGRAPHS, NOT JUST PRETTY PICTURES.
My job is to create a space for authenticuty - I encourage it! Be YOU and let me do the rest. Do you love each other? Good. You are already going to rock your photos. At the end of the day the greatest gift you will receive is one another. It isn’t cake or how the décor will look – it is your loved one.
I have had SO many people tell me are they are not good in front of the camera. However, you will be surprised how, with a little bit of posing guidance from me, couples will quickly grow comfortable enjoy time together. That is what I desire for you and your loved one – comfort, happiness, and for your worries to fade away.
Love between two people is a beautiful thing to witness, and it is such a blessing to capture.

Q: Is the reservation fee/deposit refundable?
A: YES! There is a non-refundable retainer to lock in your date and time with me. This guarantees that your date is YOURS. This will be 35% of your total and is due at the time of contract signing.
Q: How do you accept payment?
A: I will send you an online invoice and you will that pay through credit card in a secure portal. I will send all your payments this way. It rocks!
Q: What do we do if it’s raining on our elopement day?
A: We can either go for it - some of the most magical experiences and images I have taken have been in the misty mountain weather. OR we can move days if there is flexibility. I have done both with my couples and was able to make the day happen without any issues!
Q: I have NO idea where to start with locations!
A: Thats where I come in! I have been to plenty of places by now for elopements and I have quite a few options for you to go through!
Q: How many images can we expect from our wedding?
A: Weddings: I give around 75 images per hour of coverage.
Q: How long does it take to receive our images?
A: Weddings: 4-5 weeks via online gallery + within a week of your wedding I will send you a sneak peek gallery which will have 50-100 images for you to download. This will give you a preview and take some time off waiting. I am just as excited to share as you are to see!
Q: Can I add an engagement session to my collection?
A: Yes absolutely! It’s $900 and you an add that at anytime.
Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes!! Let me know if you need a copy for your venue!
Q: If we are getting married in a National Park, do I need a permit?
A: Most likely yes - think of it like your wedding venue AND you get to support the parks which is amazing. I can guide you through that process but you will have to fill it out + pay since they usually require information only you can give.
Q: Where are you located?
A: I am currently residing in Dawsonville, Georgia. Just at the base on the mountains!
Q: Do your prices include tax?
A: They do indeed - Georgia requires me to collect sales tax on services that come with tangible goods. (aka in my case your USB box) So sales tax is included in your packages.
Q: Does it cost to have you travel to our wedding? How much?
A: If your wedding is outside of Georgia then there will most likely be a travel fee. (unless you get Sevenfoot Film and I’s package!) This will totally depend on your wedding details, BUT to give you an idea it will cover things like: airfare, gas, airbnb, food, etc.
Q: How do we pick photo locations?
A: If you don’t already have a location in mind for your photos, I will send you a list of ones I frequent and we can dig in and see which one fits your vision best!
Q: Can we order prints of your images or does that cost extra?
A: Heck yes you can! I encourage you to do so to ensure you get the best quality images! Places like Walmart, Shutterfly, + Walgreens usually botch up the color and sharpness of photos. (I’ve
learned my lesson too many times) Through your online gallery you are able to order prints, albums, canvas, etc! It’s super easy and you’ll be set up with the best prints in town!
Q: Can I have unedited versions of the photos or the RAWs?
A: Quick answer: no.
Long answer: think of your favorite movie. Now I don’t know what about it makes it your favorite, but it probably has something to do with the style of movie. Music, actors, genre, cinematography, WHATEVER it is. You just love it.
You don’t go to a store to buy this movie and expect to get the RAW footage. It wouldn’t hold the specialties that come from the final product. Plus let’s be real there would probably be over 100 hours of footage. No one wants to go through that.
It’s the final product that has your heart - the style of the movie that drew you in. This is exactly how my editing and culling ways are to my images. Sealed and signed by my personal touch that preserves your images for you. You hire me because you like my style - which I think it pretty
Q: Can we bring our dog? Can we bring props?
A: Dogs are amazing and therefore you can bring
them + any other critters you have as pets! I’ve had couples bring up to 4 dogs to s shoot one. Not going to lie, it was a little chaotic. But you get the idea! YES dogs are invited!
You are totally allowed to bring props - I do not provide them. But I wouldn’t focus too much on things like props. (unless your significant other is considered a prop ;) I am here to document you together - the richness that is your relationship. And we don’t needs props for that!
Q: Can we order an album through you?
A: ABSOLUTELY! I LOVE albums so much. I never realized just how incredible it is to hold a tangible retelling of a wedding until I made one for myself. To be able to print your wedding on a high quality, heirloom book feels as though you are reading a story book - you really do appreciate it THAT much more than what you see in your online gallery. Ask me about albums - I can hook you up!
Q: Does the photographer retain the copyright to the images? Does that mean we can’t share them?
A: By law whoever takes the photograph - literally presses the button - retains the copyright. So I will always own that copyright BUT I will give you a release form that allows you to share + print the
heck out of the images. YAY! Basically the only thing the copyright exsist for is saying only I can sell and use the images for marketing / business activieties. (which the only thing I use them for is in my portfolio)
Q: What equipment do you use? What happens if something breaks?
A: I have two cameras, a handful of lenses, extra batteries and cards, and two flashes I bring with me on the wedding day. Basically there is a backup to everything! My camera even shoots on two cards so I create a backup of your images the moment I take the shot. ALSO I bring with my a second photographer, which is why I included one in all my packages. So if anything happens to me, she is ready for action!

YAY! I am so excited about this part because it means we get to begin our journey together! First all I need you to do is pick a collection that best suits what you are envisioning. (Not sure what is best for you? Ask me to break down the collections!) From there I will create and send you a contract & non-refundable retainer to lock us in. Once those booking documents are completed, we’re automatic BFFs!
The next step to our friendship is a Facetime call so we can chat, get to know one another, and plan out all the upcoming details. It may seem like a lot...but I got you completely. I am here to make everything - even things outside of pictures - easier for you!
