ittantinny Riverside Campsites and Activities on the Delware River goes with the flow of being known as one of the top spots for river recreation across the region. A relied upon resource in response to inquiries over “What’s a good place to go”... tubing, rafting, kayaking and canoeing; the destination also carries a conscious mind toward respecting its resource for fun. For more than a quarter century, this family owned and operated business has been holding the On and Under the Delaware River Clean Up with this year’s
Bear to Miss This?
event set for 8a.m. - 5p.m. July 17th to 19th. With a dedicated focus on encouraging all to maintain natural resources of the Pocono Mountains region, this massive preservation effort has enlisted thousands of volunteers over the years.
Asking all to bring it-don’t fling it and consider canning, Kittatinny’s stand on stomping colossal collection numbers can succeed.
Make your reservations without hesitation by calling
1.800.FLOAT.KC or emailing at
info@kittatinny.com as space fills fast.
Free camping is offered on days of the cleanup with breakfast and dinner provided.

G
o on...take to the trees with Gorilla Grove Treetop Adventures setting the stage for some amazing opportunities for a unique outdoor experience. Situated in Kalahari territory, here’s the story how introducing physical activities comes with ease. Take close-to-the-ground children’s courses for a start where leveled platforms, connected by bridges, build balance and maneuverability skills. Safely harnessed to help with stability, kids can conquer steps and stages throughout.
Compete to see who’ll seize the fasted time stirring the serene tree lined scene. Encouraging onlookers to observe and take photos, benches and trails offer a comfortable alternative for those in the group who choose to hang around on ground. Afterall, SOMEONE’s got to grab mom and
dad or the rest of the crew in this Pocono Mountains memorable view. But beware; all too often sitting around to stare at all the action stirs a reaction to join in! With no reservation required for groups who number under 10, be inspired to try something new or consider a repeat feat. Wear wellfitting clothing and rubber band those long hair strands so not to get tangled in cables or ropes. Sneakers or hiking shoes should be used so drop those flip-flops and sandals until after.
Then it’s off to quad racing zip lines, one-of-a-kind for the region, in season four-at-a-time for a friendly race against family and friends.

O
h yeah! It’s time to savor the flavor of some succulent grilled eats with Barley Creek Brewing Company all too willing to oblige. With warm weather igniting cravings for burgers, steaks and ribs; better slap on some bibs ‘cause finger lickin’ feasting is on the menu at this popular Tannersville venue. Thinking of hosting you own outdoor roasting but not too intrigued by the idea of a no seat retreat? Creek catering takes care of debates over who’ll cook over a hot grill for the plates. A lineup of clever cuisine includes Bar’s bearing fixings like Mashed Potato with shredded cheddar, even marshmallows and brown sugar for sweet potatoes. Of course there’s also options for a Wing, Nacho or Hot Dog bar with all the expected (and some unexpected) option concoctions. With items subject to change, definitely choose a designee to reach out to Barley and arrange what suits your festivity best... just look to the left for what’s up at The Creek including contact info.

Looking for a floor with exceptional durability and performance to handle Pocono Mountains predicaments? Look no further than COREtec Plus!
With weather woes from snow boots, to wet towels fresh from the lake tormenting typical flooring, George Smith Flooring of Pocono Lake tells how COREtec Plus is a great alternative to glue down flooring, sheet vinyl or laminate flooring as it offers the look of real wood or tile with benefits. 100% waterproof, COREtec Plus can be installed in wet areas and won’t swell when exposed to water, plus it won’t expand or contract. Each COREtec Plus plank has an attached cork underlayment for a quieter, warmer vinyl floor that is naturally resistant to odor causing mold and mildew. Throw in scratch resistant and easy to care for and we’re guessin’ you’ll be there at George Smith Flooring’s showroom for a view of the entire COREtec Plus collection!
