Wildflower Music Festival In a natural amphitheater, accented by towering pines and a fragrant summer breeze, the Wildflower Music Festival has been a Pocono Mountains tradition for three decades. BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL in Wind Gap Enjoy the sounds of banjos, guitars, fiddles and acoustic instruments at the Pocono Mountains’ 24th Annual Bluegrass Festival from August 2 through August 5. Featured acts include Lonesome River Band, Lost Ramblers, Dale Ann Bradley, Louie Setzer, Forgotten Mountain Boys, Hilltown, Heavy Traffic and Texas Rose. The festival will be held in Mountain View Park, East Mountain Road, off Route 512 South in Wind Gap. Show times are 2 p.m. to midnight on Thursday, August 2, 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for Thursday, $25 for Friday and Saturday, $20 for Saturday after 6 p.m., $15 for Sunday and $10 for children. Children under 13 are free. Weekend tickets are $70 for adults and $30 for children. Early campground setup takes place on Saturday and Sunday, July 28 and July 29. Buck Hill-Skytop Music Festival The Buck Hill-Skytop Music Festival, running daily through August 4, debuted in 2010 as a means of bringing a classical music cultural and educational institution to the Pocono Mountains region. International conductor, opera coach and master class teacher Peter Mark acts as Artistic Director. Venues for the festival, which features multiple programs during each day and night of its run, include Tennis Tea in Buck Hill Falls, Skytop Lodge and Notre Dame High School in East Stroudsburg. On July 27, sample everything the festival has to offer at Skytop for the Taste of the Festival 7 p.m. show.

July 28 features chamber music at 11 a.m. at Tennis Tea and a jewel box presentation of La Traviata at Notre Dame High School at 7:30 p.m., with a post-show discussion at 9:30. On July 29, at 11 a.m., a jazz brunch will be held at Skytop. Later that night, at 8 p.m., jazz performer Dave Liebman is scheduled to take the stage. Other highlights include music at dusk performances, young scholars revue and a gala dinner on closing night. Opera master classes taught by Peter Mark will be offered. Pennsylvania Blues Festival Celebrating 21 years of blues in the Poconos, the Pennsylvania Blues Festival hits the hills at Blue Mountain Ski Area from July 27 through July 29. Featuring two stages, 15 national acts will perform, including Steve Guyger and the Excellows, Otis Taylor Band, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and Teeny Tucker. Mikey Junior & The Stone Cold Blues Band kick off the festival on Friday night at 8 p.m. On Saturday the first act, Marquise Knox, takes the stage at 1 p.m. and Naomi Shelton and the Gospel Queens at noon on Sunday. Music is continuous until 1:30 a.m. on Saturday and 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Adult tickets are $65 for two days, $40 for one. Tickets for children age six to 12 are $15 for both days and $9 for one. Camping prices are $135 per adult for two days and $45 per child. Campers may arrive at Blue Mountain beginning at noon on Friday, July 27.
