Quiet Valley Presents OLD TIME CHRISTMAS See traditional Christmas customs brought to life during the 22nd Annual Old Time Christmas events at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. The peaceful winter farm tours detail 19th century holiday traditions through reenactments and living displays. On Saturdays and Sundays through December 9, costumed guides lead lantern-lit tours through the farm, pausing for stories and scenes of good cheer. The tours begin beside a crackling fire and proceed to a rustic cabin for scenes from a traditional Victorian Christmas. Afterward, it’s on to the barnyard where an inspirational living nativity scene awaits. Enjoy storytelling in the cabins, music and caroling in the oneroom schoolhouse and a special visit from the Belschnikel in the original farmhouse; the traditional Pennsylvania German character will appear to remind children that it’s to benefit Coolbaugh Township never too late to be good! The tours Volunteer Fire Company conclude in the Engel Education OPEN THRU DECEMBER 23 Building where refreshments will be available to all. Friday 5PM-9PM

New Events & Returning Favorites at Hawley Winterfest Experience non-stop winter fun at Hawley Winterfest! The beloved community celebration returns to the lake region from December 7 through 9. Now in its 14th year, Hawley Winterfest promises all the cherished events of years past with exciting new additions! The fun begins on Friday with exhibits, giveaways and warm Winterfest traditions. The 14th Annual Hawley Rotary Tip-Off Basketball Tournament will begin at 4 p.m. at Wallenpaupack Area High School. Grey Towers Hosts Holiday Mansion Tours Grey Towers National Historic Site will offer Holiday Mansion Tours from Monday, December 10 through Saturday, December 22. Explore all three floors of the beautifully decorated mansion during these special holiday tours. Members of the Milford Garden Club have decorated each floor to reflect a different theme. The guided tours will detail the history of the 1886 mansion and its founding residents, the Pinchot family. Tours will take place at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Admission costs $5 per person.
