Xploit in Catania Sicily Xploit participated in a study visit to Catania in Autumn 2011, organized by the EU LeCiM project. The study visit offered dialogues with very interesting migrant empowerment communities. Xploit and the Israeli learning cities Through the Xploit networking, the project coordinator has been invited to support the further development of learning cities across Israel, missioned by the Israeli government. The 3 year Xploit project aims to build capacity in local communities to develop into learning communities by addressing lifelong learning at a systematic level, exploiting European learning resources and along these processes establish new communication infrastructures in the communities. Communities from Spain (Salt Catalonia), the UK (Swansea), Hungary (Nagykovácsi), Italy (Udine) and Romania (Iasi) are the Xploit practice communities. The project is coordinated in Denmark, and Die Berater from Austria is the project’s quality assurance partner.
